Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: A Stunning Encounter

"Ha~ There's really nothing fun to do again."

The boy lying on the bed yawned as he lazily scrolled through Station B.

His name was Jason. He had just finished playing games and planned to relax by watching some videos, but after scrolling for a long time, he couldn't find a single short video that felt refreshing.

Jason curled his lips in boredom—until a video with over ten thousand likes suddenly caught his attention.

"Shocking! He actually did THIS to his own pet?"

"This kind of title is ancient."

Jason couldn't help but feel speechless. The "Shocking" series had been popular for years, but nowadays, most videos with titles like this were just clickbait scams selling dogs.

Still, classics were classics. Despite himself, Jason grew a little curious and tapped the video.

"Tsk tsk~ Over ten thousand likes in just three hours. That's actually impressive."

Jason glanced at the upload time—two o'clock in the afternoon.

The video opened with a clean, tidy room.

Soon after, the familiar background music of "Pure Land of Bliss" slowly began to play.

As a seasoned otaku, Jason's DNA was instantly triggered.

"The music choice is perfect!"

His fingers moved at lightning speed. In just a few seconds, he opened the barrage input box, typed out a comment, and sent it.

Then he continued watching—and in the very next moment, Jason's eyes widened abruptly.

The camera slowly panned forward, and a beautiful little creature wearing a white dress appeared on screen.

Its large, ruby-like eyes were bright and clear. In its slender hands, it held two exquisite flower fans. Even through the screen, its elegant and noble aura was impossible to ignore.

Beautiful.

Even though it wasn't human, Jason was still completely stunned by the creature's beauty.

"Damn…?"

But the shock didn't stop there.

As the music reached its prelude, the beautiful creature gently waved the flower fans and began to dance.

Although its lower body was made of exposed diamond ore—making it different from ordinary dancers—its upper body structure was incredibly similar to a human's. Every movement was graceful and fluid, its smile elegant and dignified, its posture breathtaking.

It was smiling.

And more importantly—

This beautiful creature was dancing perfectly in rhythm with the music.

Perfectly on beat.

Jason stared at the screen, his shock slowly transforming into excitement. His eyes lit up.

No way.

This was definitely not CG.

Jason was certain. He came from a well-off family and had been smart since childhood. His parents had even hired tutors to teach him computer-related skills.

This was absolutely not CG.

So… it was real?

But what kind of animal was this?

The title said it was a pet, but Jason had never seen anything like it before.

If such a beautiful pet—one that could even dance—existed, the internet would have exploded long ago.

Jason quickly opened the comments.

Watching videos with comments was a habit of his, because—

The moment the barrage appeared, the entire screen was instantly flooded with comments, completely covering the video.

But Jason was already used to it.

What he needed was information.

"Beautiful! So beautiful! Diancie is way too beautiful!"

"Wuwuwu, Mom, I'm in love—and it even looked at me!"

"I'll spend all my money to buy a Diancie! I won't marry anyone else in this life!"

"One can at least not… never mind! Diancie! My Diancie!"

"What kind of fairy is this? Beautiful, cute, and can dance—my god!"

"Ah Wei, come out and do the routine! Forget it, I'll do it myself—awsl!"

Jason instantly caught the name buried in the flood of comments.

Diancie.

What a nice name.

He turned off the barrage and stared at the elegantly dancing Diancie without blinking. Without realizing it, a faint, almost crazed smile appeared on his face.

Soon, the music ended.

Diancie made a graceful spin, closed the flower fans, crossed her hands in front of her, and bowed politely.

"Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!"

Jason couldn't help but send another barrage comment.

He even felt that Diancie's upbringing and manners far surpassed those of most people—she was like an aristocratic lady who had received elite education since childhood.

This was simply outrageous.

"Hello, everyone~"

At that moment, a clear male voice sounded.

On screen, a cleanly dressed, handsome young man walked over to Diancie.

It was Ren.

Jason instinctively clenched his hand.

For a split second, he almost typed "Stay away from my wife".

But after thinking about it, Jason forced himself to calm down.

People shouldn't—or at least couldn't—be like that.

"How was Diancie's performance, everyone?" Ren said with a smile. "This is my little princess. It took me a long time to convince her to film this video."

Standing beside Ren, Diancie seemed to understand his words. She lowered her head slightly and covered her face with a flower fan.

She was shy.

"Maybe many of you are curious about Diancie," Ren continued calmly. "I can state this clearly—there is no second Diancie in the world. Anyone who wants to acquire her, please don't bother messaging me."

"Diancie is an extremely important member of my family. I will never sell her."

When he said this, Ren's tone became noticeably serious.

Jason fell silent.

He had just been about to send Ren a private message asking about purchasing Diancie—but now, it was clearly impossible.

"But aside from Diancie," Ren said with a smile as his tone shifted, "I also have other very magical pets. Like her, they'll bring you a completely new experience."

"I run a pet shop, and everyone is welcome to visit. I've pinned the shop's address at the top of the comments."

"Trust me—this shop belongs to all of us."

"And now~ let's say goodbye to our lovely friends."

Diancie tilted her head slightly, her big eyes curving into crescent moons as she waved her little hands at the camera.

Cute beyond words.

Then, the video ended.

Pokémon Pet Shop.

Jason immediately opened the comments section.

The number of comments had already surpassed 10,000, which didn't surprise him in the slightest.

His gaze landed on the pinned address.

Magic City.

And he just happened to be in Magic City.

If that was the case…

Maybe he should go take a look.
