Life in the Spirit Realm is, in a word, Boring, Veryyyy Boring.
I was in my room resting on the bed looking after my subjects, the low level spirit kids playing among themselves, with my water mirror. The water mirror is a spell that creates a mirror of water that allows me to look at almost everywhere in the water spirit realm. This is my authority as the queen of this realm.
Watching the kids play is one of the few things that keeps my terminal boredom at bay.
While I was enjoying the games the little ones were playing, I sensed a spirit contract request coming.

I sat up, my azure hair trailing into the water-bed. I looked at the summoners soul profile and it's weird, extremely weird. It's kind of hard to explain, exactly what's weird but it just is. Also, why does he seem to have the 'spirit warmth' ?

it is a special kind of presence or scent that a summoner's soul develop, when he has been in contact with spirits for a long time and he is loved dearly by spirits. It's kind of a symbol of trust, just like for humans, other humans with more lines on their forehead and eye corners look trustworthy.
From what I am seeing, this is his first time forming a contract. So how ?
I tried to look deep into him, his soul. And then I found something that should not be there.

"Your water spirit affinity is certainly above average" She said crossing her arms "But at most, your natural talent should only have summoned a High-tier spirit. A formidable feat, yes, but not a Queen."
