Chapter 137 - Chapter 137: Frequent Accidents

"Unforgivable!"

Mama's eyes were blood-red as she stared at the giant castle man Bege had transformed into. She walked forward step by step, each footfall landing like a mountain pressing down, cracking the earth beneath her feet. Arriving before the massive fortress, Mama leaped into the air, grabbed the structure, and smashed it with a devastating punch.

"Get out here, Bege! Straw Hat!" she roared.

While shouting, Mama peered inside through the gaps in the stone, her fists raining down incessantly. The castle man shook violently as deep cracks appeared on its surface. Inside, Bege was in agony. Because the castle was his own body, he felt every strike personally. The others watched from the side, not daring to intervene. It looked as though Bege would be beaten to death by Mama in a matter of moments.

"Young Lord, they should be finished now," Haruko said, looking at Yamato. She didn't believe there could be another turn of events. If the people inside came out, they might be able to create a small opening, but the chances were minuscule against an enraged Yonko.

"Haha, it looks like they've reached a dead end," Yamato laughed, appearing completely unbothered.

"This is no time for you to be laughing. The tools you selected are about to be destroyed," Haruko replied, giving her a sidelong glance. Why didn't her Young Lord seem nervous at all?

"If they're gone, they're gone. At worst, I'll just find new ones. I'm not going to rescue them; that's not happening. No matter how you look at it, they are still enemies of our Beasts Pirates," Yamato shrugged. Even if she hoped these tools could help her achieve her goals, it didn't mean she was going to be friends with them—at least not yet.

"Young Lord, sometimes you really are hard to figure out," Haruko shook her head.

"That's a given! If you want to understand my heart, Haruko, you'll have to work harder," Yamato said with a grin, patting Haruko on the shoulder. Haruko looked at her helplessly. Did she even realize how she sounded?

After Mama launched a continuous barrage of attacks, Bege finally couldn't hold out any longer. He reverted from his castle form back to his human self.

"You've finally decided to come out? Then all of you can go to hell!" A murderous smile appeared on Mama's face.

Smoke filled the area, but the Big Mom Pirates could still see their enemies. "Fire!" they shouted. Instantly, bullets poured into the smoke. However, every shot was blocked.

"Germa 66, move out!"

As the smoke cleared, the Vinsmoke family charged out, engaging the Big Mom Pirates in a chaotic melee. Meanwhile, Bege led the others in a hasty retreat to escape the rooftop.

"Are they cutting their losses to survive? With just those few people, they won't be able to stall for long," Yamato noted.

"Their idea isn't wrong, but they don't have enough people. Besides, Mama's targets are Straw Hat and Bege; she will never allow them to escape," Haruko agreed. Eventually, Luffy would have to fight her himself.

"Whoa, here it comes. The move that defeated Joker—Gear Fourth: Boundman," Yamato nodded as she saw Luffy transform. If he didn't use his maximum strength right away, he would be coughing up blood after just a few moves from Mama.

The venue fell back into a chaotic battle.

"I see something interesting every time. This is great. Watching a spectacle is only satisfying like this. Haruko, here, have a lychee-flavored egg tart," Yamato said. She moved a table to the edge of the roof and sat down to watch the show. Haruko realized there wasn't much else to do, so she sat down next to her. Big figures like Morgans and Stussy were also hiding in the corners to watch.

"After I defeat Kaido, you're next, Mama!" Luffy shouted. He threw a powerful strike, blocking Mama for a moment before deactivating his ability and flying backward.

"What a bold declaration. Even though he's running away, he still dares to talk so tough. I'd call Straw Hat the ballsiest man," Yamato gave a thumbs up. Haruko rolled her eyes. What was the point of talking tough while making such a pathetic escape?

"Why do you think you can escape? I truly don't understand it," Mama growled. She gave chase, running like a small giant.

Just then, Sanji's father, Judge, rushed out to block her path. Unfortunately, he didn't even last twenty seconds before being flattened by a single punch.

"The escape has stopped again. They really are stubborn," Yamato said, reaching out to break off a large piece of dessert from a nearby wall.

"Even Katakuri has made a move now. They definitely won't escape unless something unexpected happens," Haruko said, taking a sip of coffee. The battle was completely one-sided.

"The unexpected is about to happen. Let's see: 10, 9, 8... 3..." Yamato began stuffing desserts into her mouth as if she were a starving ghost.

"Young Lord, what are you doing?" Haruko was stunned. Why the sudden urgency?

Boom!

A massive explosion rocked the area. The entire Whole Cake Castle began to shake and tilt to one side.

"Did you foresee this too?" Haruko blinked. Why was the castle collapsing? Had the Straw Hats planted explosives?

"This is an accident, a true accident," Yamato said, pulling away a tablecloth to wrap up a two-meter-tall dessert tower. Haruko felt a vein throb on her forehead. She really wanted to hit her Young Lord.

"Haruko, get ready to leave," Yamato said. Her body shifted, and she transformed into a small pink dragon surrounded by white flame clouds. Pink clouds formed under their feet, supporting them and the dessert tower.

"Young Lord, if this castle falls, a lot of people will die. Aren't you going to help?" Haruko asked.

"Don't worry, someone will step in," Yamato smiled.

"You can become this small?" Haruko looked at her. Yamato was only about two meters long, looking somewhat cute.

"Impressive, right? I can even get as small as a bracelet," Yamato told her. This was basically like having a Paramecia ability on top of her Zoan form. Yamato stood like a human on the cloud, resting one hand on Haruko's shoulder and wiggling her eyebrows. "Am I cool?"

Haruko grabbed Yamato's face and squeezed hard. "Young Lord, if you use such sleazy gestures again, don't blame me for being impolite."

"Fine, fine! I'll be careful!" Yamato cried out. Haruko let go, reminding her she wasn't a man and shouldn't act like a hoodlum.

Below them, the castle continued to fall. Mama was bouncing down the side like a giant ball, with Zeus chasing after her. This chaos gave the Straw Hats and Bege the perfect chance to run.

"They really are lucky," Haruko marveled.

"It's not over. They have to leave Totto Land to be safe," Yamato said, taking a bite of her dessert.

Just then, the head chef, Streusen, rushed out. He slashed at the falling castle with his sword, activating his Kuku Kuku no Mi. In seconds, the entire stone structure turned into actual cake. Soft cream surged out, cushioning the fall so people wouldn't be crushed.

"I didn't expect the head chef to have such a skill," Haruko said.

"His ability isn't that special. The food tastes terrible, but it's useful right now," Yamato dismissed. "The show is over. It's time to go."

"Should we say something to Katakuri?"

"No need. He'll know we've left. They're busy anyway," Yamato said, controlling the clouds to carry them away.

On the ground, the Big Mom Pirates emerged from the cream, cursing the Straw Hats and Bege. Katakuri walked over, interrupting them. He looked around but didn't see Yamato. "It seems they have left."

To the northwest of Cake Island, the Straw Hat crew, Bege, and Caesar were trying to make their getaway. Suddenly, they saw a cluster of pink clouds flying toward them.

"Someone's coming! Watch out!"

"What's that? A pink cloud?"

"That's the woman who follows Onihime Yamato! That means she's here too!" Bege became tense. Everyone, including Jinbe, felt as if they were facing a great enemy. Caesar tried to hide by holding his head, hoping he wouldn't be noticed.

The clouds stopped a dozen meters above them. "There's no need to be so guarded. We're just passing through," Haruko said coldly.

"Liar! They know Luffy ruined their trade with Doflamingo!" Nami cried.

"Hey, who are you? What's your relationship with Kaido?" Luffy asked boldly.

"Straw Hat, watch your tone!" Bege warned.

"Kaido? He's my father. Does that answer satisfy you, Monkey D. Luffy?" A lazy, sexy voice sounded. Yamato peeked her head out, a cigarette dangling from her mouth. She looked like a mob boss lady.

"A dragon! It's a dragon!" Nami and Chopper screamed.

"A Mythical Zoan... but why is it so small?" Bege was astonished. He knew the bounty on her head was worth 3,000,000,000, and he expected her to be as massive as her father.
