Chapter 26 - System Killer Last Variable 26

AIRY GOD: DUST SOVEREIGN SHIROU

CHAPTER 26 — SYSTEM KILLER: LAST VARIABLE

The Domain held.

Everything bent under one truth:

Shirou > Everything.

Riven knelt slightly—not by choice, but because the concept of "standing equal" no longer existed.

Null remained upright—

But even he had slowed.

Restricted.

Contained.

And yet—

Riven started laughing.

Low at first.

Then louder.

"…Man… this is insane."

Shirou didn't react.

Riven lifted his head slowly, eyes no longer normal.

They glitched.

Like broken code trying to rewrite itself.

"You think you ended scaling?"

His body began to distort—not physically, but structurally. His existence started separating into layers… like multiple versions of himself overlapping and contradicting each other.

"Then I'll just stop being part of it."

The void trembled.

Then—

Riven's presence vanished.

Not erased.

Not hidden.

He became something that didn't belong to Shirou's Domain at all.

A new notification—one that shouldn't exist—flickered in broken fragments:

[ERROR: TARGET OUTSIDE SOVEREIGN HIERARCHY]

[ERROR: UNABLE TO ASSIGN VALUE]

Shirou's eyes narrowed slightly.

For the first time since his transformation—

Something wasn't beneath him.

Riven reappeared.

Different.

Incomplete.

Unstable.

Terrifying.

[SYSTEM KILLER — FINAL VARIABLE]

"I don't scale under you anymore," Riven said quietly.

"I exist… where your rules don't reach."

He stepped forward—

And the Domain…

Didn't respond.

Then—

He punched.

The hit landed.

Directly.

On Shirou.

The entire structure of existence collapsed from the impact, layers folding infinitely outward.

For the first time—

Shirou moved.

Just half a step back.

Silence.

Null observed carefully.

"…So even you can be reached," he said.

Shirou looked at Riven.

No anger.

No shock.

Just—

Interest.

"…Good."

The dust in his eyes spun faster.

"You finally became something worth testing."
