Chapter 16 - you are late

A minute of silence fell in the café... those present were watching.

«She is alive but her heartbeats are very slow, this is a problem» said Arkan.

«She is in a coma» Laith stated the reality.

He continued: «What will you do now?»

«I will take her to the sorcerers' school, there is a mini hospital there».

«Why don't you take her to a regular hospital, it is wider and the healers are more experienced?»

(The author: If you look here you will find that I used the term healers instead of doctors... and this is to indicate that in that era there were no doctors but healers... the difference is clear from the naming, for the healer heals while the doctor in the modern term does not heal but diagnoses and sells you the diagnosis then sends you to the pharmacist... he does not heal but sells you drugs, and these drugs some heal and some do not heal but suppress the symptoms not for any reason other than that you feel you have improved of course with spices that cause diseases and other disorders most of them in the long term... why? So that you get sick again and return to the doctor and the scenario repeats.)

While you were reading my words Arkan and Laith arrived at the sorcerers' school, and while they were in front of the door Laith asked again: «Are you sure you will not take the girl to a regular hospital?»

«I do not trust anyone» was Arkan's reply.

They entered and Arkan carrying the girl on his back... it so happened that the school director passed by them and was surprised: «So this is the girl from Ur».

He did not ask much in such a busy time, he helped them and they placed Layan in a bed in the school's mini hospital.

The healer there was an old woman, she spoke positively and said: «There is no problem with her at all, I will wrap her head with medical herbs for the earth element and she will wake up in about a week at most».

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Quickly the three said goodbye and exited the school.

These three were Laith and Arkan and the director of the sorcerers' school.

They exited quickly because they were busy... they had a meeting, but this meeting was not a meeting to arrange matters like the previous one, rather they were going to meet the comrades to head to the court to raise the lawsuit.

They returned to the café of magical exchanges 18.

Indeed they found Salim and old Ribeiro and Chodo and the other colleague waiting for them.

They were not late because they had set the timing taking the events into account.

Without much extra talk the matter was serious to the degree that they chose the number 18 because it was very close to the court.

The seven entered the court.

The case concerned everyone, therefore according to the agreement all of them would sign the lawsuit paper.

(The author: The handwritten signature had not yet been invented in that era, therefore it consisted of placing a drop of blood, and in the context of the novel at that time it was possible by clairvoyance on the drop of blood to know its owner).

The case was raised.

.........

Headquarters of the Eclipse Cave gang.

«O Mater, even after cutting off your ears and losing your sense of hearing you still insist... what kind of will do you possess».

Knock knock knock, someone is knocking on the door forcefully, «Go O Hisham, open the door».

After hearing his cousin Abraham's order Hisham hurried toward the door and opened it, as soon as he opened it people entered forcefully, they were wearing steel armor covering their entire bodies and their size was extremely large.

Abdullah saw this and smiled: «Hehe, it seems the game has begun».

Clara was not interested.

But Hisham as an ordinary innocent person and Abraham as the gang leader felt tension.

One of the royal soldiers advanced forcefully and with composure, he emanated a feeling of awe to everyone who looked at him, but this aura disappeared as soon as he saw the scene in front of him: A man completely suspended in the air without legs and his chest open like a window and his belly hollow and empty without ears and without a nose looking at him and smiling: «Did you come to help me... you are late, for I will die here».
