Chapter 7 - Brother gans

Red stood perfectly still, eyes locked on the gun pressed against her head. She didn't flinch. Her lips curved into a mocking smile.

"See, you're always like that, Brother Gans," she said coolly.

Gans' eyes narrowed. "Oh, you knew it was me all along. You never change. You'll never fit into our family."

"I was never part of that stupid family anyway. You're all dead to me," Red snapped, jaw tight with anger.

Slowly, Gans lowered the gun. "By the way, I've got some business with you."

Red tilted her head. "What business?"

"Alex called me. She wanted me to come over and help her with something."

Red's brow furrowed. "Help her with what?"

Gans exhaled sharply. "She said she kept hearing children crying… and a man moaning in pain."

Red's expression hardened. "And that concerns you?"

"Of course it does. I want to see what you're hiding. But the worst part? I know what you've done. Over five hundred children… murdered without mercy. How kind of you."
