Outside, the man stood near the door, holding a syringe filled with a substance known to be poison. He positioned himself as if he were a doctor in charge, maintaining a calm and professional appearance.
The only thing he was waiting for was for Sora to step out—even if it was just for a brief moment. That would be his chance to inject the shot into Sora's neck and disappear without anyone noticing.
The man remained still, eyes cold and calculating, carefully thinking through every detail of his plan.
Inside the room, Sora stood up. "I'll go grab some water," he said casually, stretching his arms.
Ren glanced at him. "Don't take too long."
Liam smiled. "Bring me some too."
Sora nodded and walked toward the door, unaware of the danger waiting just outside.
