When I remembered why Finnick suddenly stood up that night, heat rushed to my face. I quickly pushed the thought away and smiled awkwardly. "A couple should trust each other."

But Xavier clearly didn't share the same caution.
"Ten years ago, Finnick was in a car accident," he said casually. "Everyone believes he became crippled because of that accident. But the truth is different. His legs were only injured. After he went to A Nation for treatment, he fully recovered."
