Jay's POV
By the time we left the streets of London, my feet were tired but my heart felt full.
The city lights blurred past the car window as we drove back. I rested my head against the glass for a moment, then slowly leaned onto Keifer's shoulder. He didn't say anything—just wrapped an arm around me, pulling me closer.
"Tired?" he asked softly.
"A little," I admitted. "But… happy."
He smiled. "Good. That's all I wanted today."
The mansion came into view soon after. Even at night, it looked unreal—huge gates, soft lights glowing along the driveway, the house standing tall and elegant like it was guarding secrets.
As we stepped inside, warmth surrounded us instantly. The quiet felt comforting after a long day outside.
I slipped my shoes off and sighed.
"This place still feels like a dream."
Keifer watched me, his expression gentle.
"You'll get used to it."
"I don't want to," I said honestly. "If I do, I might stop appreciating it."
He chuckled. "Then don't. Just appreciate it—with me."
We walked upstairs together, slower now, the day finally catching up to us. In the room, I sat on the edge of the bed, stretching my legs.
"London is beautiful," I said. "But today was beautiful because of you."
He stopped in front of me, cupping my face carefully.
"And it was beautiful for me because you were there."
For a moment, neither of us spoke. The silence wasn't awkward—it was warm.
"Get some rest," he said softly. "You had a long day."
I nodded, smiling up at him.
"Only if you stay."
"I'm not going anywhere," he replied.
As I lay down, exhaustion finally pulling me under, I realized something.
No matter how big the city was…
No matter how grand the mansion felt…
Being with him made everything feel just right.Keifer disappeared into the bathroom, and the second the door shut, I opened the Section E group chat.
Big mistake.
Felix: "Attendance report: Jay + Keifer = missing."
Drew: "Coincidence? I think NOT."
Mayo: "School without them feels illegal."
Kit: "Who's going to argue with who now?"
David: "Silence. Peace. Too peaceful."
I laughed quietly, scrolling.
Then—
C-N: "BREAKING NEWS 🚨"
Oh no.
C-N: "Two students missing. One city possibly destroyed by romance."
Emman: "Why do you talk like that 😭"
C-N: "Because this is a CRISIS."
Eren: "Explain the crisis."
C-N: "Jay without Keifer at school = normal."
C-N: "Keifer without Jay at school = suspicious."
C-N: "Jay AND Keifer absent = WE ARE DONE FOR."
I pressed my hand to my mouth to stop laughing.
Felix: "C-N needs therapy."
C-N: "No. I need answers."
Drew: "They're probably on a date."
C-N: "DATE???"
C-N: "IN THIS ECONOMY???"
Mayo: "Calm down."
C-N: "I REFUSE."
Kit: "Jay is definitely reading this."
My smile froze.
David: "She always does."
C-N: "JAY IF YOU'RE HERE BLINK TWICE."
I buried my face in the pillow, shoulders shaking.
Emman: "Someone take C-N's phone."
C-N: "No ❤️"
Felix: "Keifer, if you're reading this, please return our friend."
At that exact moment, the bathroom door opened.
Keifer stepped out, wiping his hair with a towel.
He looked at my face and sighed.
"Let me guess… Section E?"
I nodded, holding up my phone.
"And C-N."
He closed his eyes.
"…That explains everything."I stared at the chat, still laughing at C-N's messages.
Fine, I thought. Let me give them something.
Without thinking twice, I typed:
Jay:
$£°©®€÷#%&=+&@'-₹/=[}_©;±_;
Sent.
Silence.
For exactly three seconds.
Then—
Felix: "???"
Drew: "WHAT."
Mayo: "Is this… a curse?"
Kit: "Jay please blink if you're okay."
David: "Who let her touch the keyboard."
Eren: "I think she summoned something."
Emman: "Delete it. DELETE IT NOW."
And then—
C-N:
"GUYS."
"THIS IS NOT A JOKE."
"I THINK JAY JUST HACKED THE CHAT."
I laughed so hard I had to cover my mouth.
Felix: "Jay please message properly."
Mayo: "We're begging."
Kit: "I'll do anything."
C-N: "JAY I SWEAR IF THIS IS MORSE CODE—"
Just then, a new name appeared.
Keifer joined the chat.
Everything stopped.
Drew: "Oh."
Felix: "He's here."
C-N: "THE TRANSLATOR HAS ARRIVED."
Keifer didn't even hesitate.
Keifer:
"Translation:
We're in London.
We'll be back in one week."
The chat exploded.
Mayo: "LONDON????"
Kit: "EXCUSE ME???"
David: "FOR ONE WEEK???"
Emman: "WITHOUT US???"
Felix: "Jay you betrayed Section E."
Drew: "I knew it."
And of course—
C-N:
"LONDON."
"ONE WEEK."
"SECTION E HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN ABANDONED."
I finally typed again, smiling.
Jay: "Miss us 😌"
Keifer glanced at me from across the room, amused.
"You enjoy torturing them, don't you?"
I grinned.
"Only a little."The question hung there in the chat like a ticking bomb.
Felix: "So… are you two on a date?"
I smirked.
Instead of answering properly, I typed:
Jay:
b&*₹+(53-:/¥;£|[|π<3bsjdvk`
Sent.
Instant chaos.
Drew: "NO."
Mayo: "NOT AGAIN."
Kit: "JAY PLEASE."
David: "My brain hurts."
Eren: "Is that even a language?"
Emman: "Girl we asked YES or NO."
Then—
C-N:
"THIS IS WORSE THAN THE LAST ONE."
"SHE'S EVOLVING."
I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt.
Felix: "Jay. Message. Properly."
Mayo: "We are BEGGING."
Kit: "I'll apologize for everything I ever said."
David: "Same."
And then—
ErDix: "If your phone has a problem, give it to me. I'll fix it for you."
I wiped tears from my eyes.
Before I could type anything else—
Keifer:
"No guys. Jay is saying… you'll get to know when we return."
The chat froze.
Then exploded.
Felix: "THAT'S NOT FAIR."
Drew: "KEEPING SECRETS NOW?"
Mayo: "SUSPICIOUS."
Kit: "VERY suspicious."
David: "So it IS something."
Eren: "Confirmed."
And of course—
C-N:
"ONE WEEK."
"SECRETS."
"LONDON."
"I WILL NOT SURVIVE."
I leaned back on the bed, grinning.
Keifer glanced at me.
"Happy now?"
"Very," I said proudly. "They're suffering."
He shook his head, amused.
"You're evil."
"Only to Section E."
And honestly?
They deserved it
