First, let me duck and cover because I know you saw a notification and thought, "Yay, we finally get a new chapter!" Please don't hate me! This is not a chapter, and I am so, so sorry for teasing your emotions like that. If it makes you feel any better, my guilt is currently eating me alive. 😭
I am writing this to deeply apologise for the lack of updates lately. Summer vacation completely flew by, and instead of writing, I somehow managed to lose track of time entirely. Now, reality is hitting me like a truck because school is officially reopening. My beautiful days of sleeping in and ignoring responsibilities are over. I am currently drowning in a sea of last-minute project completions , uniform fitting, and the existential dread of early morning alarms.
Because of all this chaotic back-to-school prep and getting used to a routine again, I most likely won't be able to update for the next two days.
My brain is currently fried from the shock of leaving vacation mode. If I tried to write a chapter today, my characters would probably just be staring at a wall crying about homework. You definitely deserve better than that!
I promise as soon as I survive these first two days of school and figure out how to balance my new schedule with my writing addiction, I will be right back here with a shiny new chapter.
