Chapter 123 - The Ultimate Expansion

Jay's POV

(2 years later )

Two years can change an entire universe.

If you had told me two years ago—back when we were playing love games in high school, pranking each other, chaotic games of silent treatment, fighting over minor boundary lines, and locking each other in water park cabanas just to prove a point—that our lives would look like this, I probably would have laughed in your face.

But time moves with an unstoppable momentum. It slips through your fingers while you are busy planning for the future, and somehow, the wild, completely unpredictable Section E had actually grown up. Well, mostly.

Today, the landscape of our lives looked entirely different. I was no longer just the foodie, stubborn girl causing chaos here and there. I was the CEO of JJM Holdings, and also Co-Ceo of Watson Enterprises , 25% shareholder of Fernadeze Group and 40% shareholder of Mariano Group.

Now, I. spent my days in sharp tailored suits, commanding boardrooms, and signing high-stakes international contracts.

And right across the busy city skyline stood the towering, sleek glass skyscraper of Watson Enterprises, run with an iron fist and brilliant business acumen by my fiercely ambitious Kings of Uplongs. .

Just six months ago, after months of intense corporate negotiations, playful late-night boardroom arguments, and countless legal drafts, our two companies officially signed a historic joint venture partnership.

We had combined our resources, merging our security networks and financial assets into an empire that nobody could touch. We were a power couple in the truest sense of the word—dominating the corporate business world by day, and navigating our passionate, chaotic domestic life by night in our luxury condo.

But beyond the legitimate corporate boardroom meetings and glass towers, our names carried a completely different weight in the shadows.

In the deepest, darkest corners of the underground world, Keifer and I were no longer just corporate tycoons. We were now widely feared and spoken of in hushed, terrified whispers as the Devil Couple of the underworld.

Our joint corporate venture was merely a flawless front for a ruthless, highly efficient intelligence and tactical network that completely dominated the global syndicates.

Anyone who dared to cross our family quickly learned what the phrase "ruthless nature" truly meant.

Yet, no matter how terrifying our reputation grew on the streets, our mansion remained a den of absolute, beautiful domestic madness.

The entire Section E family had expanded beautifully over the last twenty-four months, transforming our loud group gatherings into a beautiful haven of toddler laughter and family chaos.

Aries and Ella were now the proud, completely exhausted parents of a beautiful, bouncing one-year-old baby girl named Ellie. She was a tiny angel with her mother's eyes, and she already had her tough, hot-headed, horescope father wrapped entirely around her tiny little finger. Aries couldn't even raise his voice anymore without checking to see if his daughter was watching.

Percy and Honey had officially tied the knot in a gorgeous, star-lit beachfront ceremony last summer and were happily married, enjoying the peaceful bliss of their new home.

Ate Ion and Angelo were now managing the beautiful, double chaos of two adorable toddlers, Angel and Adam, who spent their days racing down the hallways and drawing on the walls.

Meanwhile, Mica and Calix had welcomed a brilliant, hyperactive little boy named Ethan, who was already showing signs of being just as charming and clever as his father.

My sweet little, Grazel, was no longer a tiny infant being carried around in a blanket; she was a highly talkative, brilliant three-year-old who loved tearing through our living room, demanding everyone's attention.

Cin and Rakki had officially announced their engagement a few months ago during a family dinner, and to absolutely nobody's surprise, Felix and Mia had finally stopped their endless years of bickering and gotten engaged as well, though they still argued about who irritate eachother more.

To top it all off, Kuya Rafael and Ate Zia had recently welcomed a tiny new addition to their family, finally giving little Rosie the brand-new baby sibling she had been loudly demanding for over a year.

But the biggest domestic shifts were happening right under our own roof with the younger generation.Keiren had finally been officially admitted into Section E. He had earned his place in the school all by himself.

Meanwhile, Keigan was marking his own massive milestone, officially entering his very first year of college. The house felt completely different with the boys stepping into their own adulthood.

Our world was full, loud, and bursting with life. We were surrounded by love, success, and the people who had bled for us. But today, the entire universe felt like it had narrowed down to the stark, sterile white walls of a private hospital room.

I sat frozen on the edge of the examination bed, the paper crinkling slightly beneath me. My fingers were trembling with a fine, uncontrollable shake, and I clutched Keifer large, warm hand with a desperate, white-knuckled grip.

For the past few weeks, my body had been feeling completely out of sorts. It had started with a subtle, annoying wave of morning nausea. I told myself I was just working too hard, skipping too many meals, or drinking too much caffeine.

But by the time the second week rolled around, the symptoms became impossible to ignore. The mere smell of my morning coffee—something I used to live on—sent a violent jolt through my stomach, sending me sprinting straight to the master bathroom.

I had spent the last few days dealing with intense vomiting spells, leaning over the porcelain bowl while my body wrathed through the exhaustion, leaving me completely weak, drained, and shaking.

I knew the signs. I didn't want to get my hopes up. I didn't want to dream of something so beautiful only to find out it was just a false alarm or a trick of stress.

Keifer sat in the plush leather chair right beside the examination bed, his broad shoulders unusually tense beneath his designer suit jacket. His sharp, defined jawline was tightly clenched, a small vein pulsing near his temple.

The great, untouchable, and ruthless CEO of Watson Enterprises looked completely petrified. He was holding my hand so tightly that I could feel the rapid, frantic thudding of his own pulse hammering against my palm.

We were both completely silent. The usual playful banter, the quick wits, and the teasing smiles were completely gone, replaced by a heavy, suffocating blanket of raw nervousness and unspoken, terrifying hope.

We didn't know what to do. We didn't know how to act. We didn't even know how to breathe properly as the seconds ticked by on the wall clock.

The door to the private cabin suddenly clicked open with a sharp, distinct sound that made us both jump slightly.

The doctor stepped inside the room, holding a small paper chart in her hands. She closed the door firmly behind her, and as she turned to face us, a gentle, knowing, and incredibly warm smile played on her lips. She didn't look stressed or clinical; she looked like someone who was about to deliver a miracle.

"Well, Mr. and Mrs. Watson," the doctor began, her voice soft and steady as she walked over to her desk, looking up from the medical files. "The blood tests and the ultra-sensitive hormone panels are officially back from the lab, and I am happy to report that the results are absolutely definitive."

My heart leaped straight into my throat, hammering so loudly against my ribs that I was certain the entire room could hear it.

I squeezed Keifer's fingers with all the remaining strength in my body, my knuckles turning completely white. I held my breath, the world around me completely blurring out until only the doctor's face remained in focus.

"Congratulations," the doctor smiled brightly, her eyes crinkling with genuine happiness as she looked directly into my wide, terrified eyes. "Mrs.Watson, you are officially six weeks pregnant. The hormone levels are incredibly strong, the baby is perfectly healthy, and everything looks absolutely flawless."

Keifer's POV

The doctor's words didn't just register in my mind; they hit me like a massive, physical wave of electricity, completely stopping the air in my lungs.

Pregnant.

The single word echoed through the chambers of my brain over and over again, shattering the heavy, anxious silence of the hospital cabin into a million pieces.

My entire body froze solid, my muscles locking up as my eyes widened to the size of saucers. I sat there on the chair, completely paralyzed, staring at the doctor for a fraction of a second before my head slowly, automatically turned to look at Jay.

Jay was sitting on the edge of the bed, looking like a stunning, fragile angel in the harsh morning light. Her beautiful face was completely pale with sheer shock, her lips slightly parted as she tried to process the reality of what she had just heard.

And then, right before my eyes, a single, large, glistening tear slipped silently from her lashes, trailing slowly down her flushed cheek.

An instant, overwhelming explosion of pure, unadulterated happiness ripped straight through my chest, expanding until it felt like my heart was going to burst right out of my body.

Every single ounce of pressure, the stress of the million-dollar merger, the weight of the Watson name, and the adult responsibilities I carried every day completely evaporated into thin air. They didn't matter. Nothing mattered anymore.

I was going to be a father.

Jay and I—the two people who had literally fought through hell, faced down death, broken rules, and torn through every single obstacle just to hold onto each other—were actually creating a life together.

We are going to become parents. There was a tiny, perfect, and beautiful extension of our love growing right inside her, a little soul that belonged completely to us.

Without a single, surged forward from the chair. My movement was fast and desperate.

I dropped to my knees right in front of the examination bed, reaching out and wrapping my large, strong arms securely around my Jay's waist.

I pulled her forward, burying my face deeply into the warm, sweet-scented crook of her neck, pressing my body flat against hers. My broad shoulders shook slightly as a low, emotional, and breathless gasp escaped my throat.

I held her with an intensity that bordered on worship, wrapping her in my embrace as if she were the most precious, priceless, and fragile treasure in the entire universe.

"Jay..." I whispered, my voice thick and heavy with raw, unfiltered emotion. It completely cracked on the syllables, the sheer weight of my love tearing through my usual confidence.

I pressed a fierce, lingering, and desperate kiss right against the soft skin of her throat. "We're having a baby. An actual baby. You're going to be a mom... and I'm going to be a dad."

Jay's hands immediately came alive. They flew to the back of my neck, her small, smooth fingers tangling desperately into the hair at the base of my skull as she clutched me back.

She pulled me against her with an equal amount of fierce, protective, and trembling intensity, burying her face into my shoulder. I could hear her letting out a soft, wet, and broken sob against my suit jacket—a sound of pure, overwhelming relief, ultimate surrender, and ecstatic happiness that went straight to my soul.

"I know, Keifer," she wept softly, her voice trembling beautifully as she held me like she would never let me go. "I know... we did it. Our baby..."

I pulled back just a fraction of an inch, just enough so I could look at her face. My hands reached up automatically, my large palms gently and reverently cupping her burning, tear-stained cheeks.

I used my thumbs to wipe away the fresh streams of tears that were continuously flowing down her skin, memorizing every single detail of her face in this exact, historic moment.

I looked down into her eyes, which were shining brighter and more beautiful than any star in the night sky, and I felt a wave of love so profound, so fiercely possessive, and so deep that it completely terrified me.

I leaned forward, tilting my head, and captured her lips in a deep, intensely tender, and lingering kiss. It wasn't a kiss born of our usual wild, fiery passion or our competitive games of dominance; it was a sacred vow.

It was a slow, deep, and desperate embrace of our lips that carried every single unsaid promise in my heart. It carried the promise of protection, of endless loyalty, and of a future that we had built with our own bare hands.

There were no games today. There were no punishments, no rules, no boundaries, and no corporate empires to manage. There was only the beautiful, undeniable, and permanent truth that our family was finally expanding.

I looked at my wife, my stunning wifey, and knew with absolute certainty that I was going to spend every single breath left in my body protecting, loving, and honoring the two miracles sitting right in front of me.

We had survived the darkness of our life together, and now, we were finally stepping into the brightest, most beautiful light of our lives.
