After taking another sip of coffee, Jake suddenly remembered something and put his cup down.
"By the way, there's something I wanted to tell you two."
Grace turned toward him curiously. "Hmm? What is it?"
"It's about our ship. The construction should be finished in about a month."
For a moment, Grace simply stared at him. Then her eyes suddenly brightened, and she leaned forward excitedly.
"Really?! In just one month?"
Jake chuckled at her reaction. "That's what I was told. Assuming there aren't any unexpected delays, we should be able to set sail soon after it's finished."
"That's wonderful!"
Grace could barely contain her excitement.
She had known that Jake's class required him to obtain a ship to advance further, so the news was already important to her.
But there was another reason she was looking forward to it.
She would finally get to sail across the vast ocean with Jake!
