Chapter 118 - Chapter 118: Instantly Draining the Magic of the Entire World...

"It's done!"

In front of him

was a sphere about the size of a fist.

Its surface looked dull and gray, utterly unremarkable.

But Karl knew

that within this fist-sized sphere lay an unimaginably terrifying power.

Even a powerful dimensional demon like Dormammu

would probably not leave even ashes behind if hit by this.

That plain, gray appearance was fitting too.

Ordinary on the outside, overwhelming in power. That was a good spell.

"Law Fusion is ridiculously easy."

"And it still took me half an hour."

Karl glanced at his watch and sighed with emotion.

What he did not know

was that if anyone else heard him say that, they would probably want to gang up and beat him to death.

Half an hour?

Even spending half a century on Law Fusion was common.

And that still was not about fusing all laws together, only two ordinary laws.

What Karl had done

was simply shocking beyond belief.

Unfortunately,

the only great being who knew about this was currently worried that his position as founder might be in danger

and had secretly gone off to study magic.

Karl was already used to things like this and did not feel that there was anything strange about it.

After resolving the matter of Law Fusion,

Karl picked up several more sorcerer books and began flipping through them one by one.

The greatest treasure the Ancient One had left to Kamar-Taj

was the collection of books she had written recording the secrets of magic.

No one knew anymore where the Ancient One's magical power originally came from. That truth had long been buried in the distant ages of the past.

But the knowledge she left behind truly was top-tier magic, filled with the mysteries of the world.

The Ancient One had never intended to keep anything to herself. She had placed all of it in the library.

She had even withheld nothing concerning dark magic.

Unfortunately,

the sorcerers could not understand it.

Or rather,

even if they understood it, they did not dare to learn it.

Kamar-Taj's magic was nothing like traditional magic.

Its power was absurdly great, but its price was equally absurd.

If you cultivated white magic, maybe you only had to pay some price.

But if you cultivated too much dark magic, having your soul utterly destroyed would already be the best possible ending.

Therefore,

Karl was the first person in a very long time to open these books.

Opening one of them,

he saw densely packed Sanskrit characters appear across the pages.

Fortunately,

God-Tier Talent was extraordinarily powerful.

Not only with magic,

but also with all kinds of knowledge, power, language, and comprehension, it allowed him to grasp things incredibly fast.

Reading Sanskrit texts naturally posed no problem.

"Seasonal Exile."

"Gather all the magical power in this world and use it to strike the enemy."

"What kind of twisted spell is this?"

Karl sucked in a sharp breath.

And this counted as white magic?

Forcibly drawing out all magical power across the world and using it to attack the enemy.

Whether black magic or white magic, all of it was driven by this force. It was that domineering.

Karl felt this spell would make more sense being classified as dark magic instead.

Even Karl found this spell somewhat outrageous.

Not to mention anything else,

even if it only drew upon all the magical power on Earth, that would already be enough for a single strike to kill Dormammu within the Dark Dimension.

Not to mention that this spell had no upper limit at all.

"The magic of this world really is incredible."

"But the price is just as horrifying."

Karl could not help sighing.

A spell this powerful was naturally not something ordinary magic could produce.

It was still the classic Kamar-Taj method.

Borrow.

Borrow power from some unknown mighty demon god, then use it to drive all the magic in the world.

According to the book, this spell could even destroy the entire Multiverse.

But the Ancient One had never used it.

The cost-performance ratio was simply too low.

"If only this spell could be improved so it wouldn't require borrowing a demon god's power."

Karl thought to himself.

[Ding!]

[You have mastered Seasonal Exile.]

Mysterious information appeared in Karl's mind.

A strange light surfaced in his eyes.

The spell's information emerged within his vision.

"God-Tier Talent is seriously broken."

"It can actually improve a spell this shocking."

"As long as my Mental Force can sustain it, I can draw upon magical power without limit."

Karl nodded in satisfaction.

Kamar-Taj's magic was too much of a trap.

Learn even a little of it,

and those demon gods would devour you clean.

Fortunately, God-Tier Talent was powerful enough.

Trying to fleece him or scheme against him? Impossible.

"Let's first see just how powerful this spell is."

With a single blink, Karl instantly appeared in midair above Kamar-Taj.

A vast amount of Mental Force spread out, covering half the Himalayan Mountains.

With a single movement of thought,

overwhelming magical power surged toward Karl, wrapping around him like a boundless ocean.

For a moment, Karl even had the illusion that he was invincible beneath the heavens.

A short while later,

the immense magical power slowly began to dissipate.

"This spell really is powerful, but the consumption of Mental Force is also terrifying."

"It's truly frightening."

Karl could not help marveling.

Because of God-Tier Talent,

his Mental Force could be said to be as vast as the sea, endless and inexhaustible. Until now, he had never experienced the feeling of exhausting it.

Yet this spell consumed that much.

Sure enough, cost and reward were proportional.

Karl had tested the spell and was satisfied. His body flashed, and he returned directly to his room.

What he did not know

was that when he tested the spell, Seasonal Exile had consumed an enormous amount of magical power.

The effect was especially intense for several Master Sorcerers.

Inside the main hall,

Yindu and the stern-faced Wong sat in their chairs.

"Yindu, did you feel it?"

Wong asked in an extremely serious tone.

"I did."

"For that brief instant just now, all magical power disappeared."

"That kind of force is truly terrifying for sorcerers like us."

Yindu's expression was equally grave.

"That was Karl's doing, wasn't it?"

Wong said.

"Without a doubt, it had to be that kid."

"With the Ancient One gone, Kamar-Taj probably has no one else capable of doing something like this."

Yindu spoke with deep emotion.

"Or am I imagining it?"

"Why do I feel like that kid has become even stronger again?"

Wong's face was full of confusion.

When they themselves improved their strength,

it had always been while the Ancient One was still there.

The Ancient One would explain things to them, teach them, and they would improve through hard work.

But

why was Karl completely different from them?

"Can Karl be compared to the likes of you?"

Yindu said.

Yindu and Wong exchanged a glance.

They were thinking exactly the same thing.

Karl was a complete monster.
