When any Law was cultivated to its limit, it could unleash overwhelmingly powerful might.
Take the Law of Space, for example.
Once Karl had cultivated it to a certain level, calling it invincible was no exaggeration at all.
Any power that did not exceed the limits of his control could be sent who-knew-where with a single portal.
This most basic spell of Kamar-Taj had been pushed by Karl into something entirely different.
A flash of golden light.
Karl appeared somewhere else.
Another flash of golden light.
The spell Galactus had unleashed was instantly teleported away.
Sometimes, it even landed directly on Thanos.
Already driven half mad by Karl's elusive, impossible-to-pin-down movements, Thanos was on the verge of breaking down.
If they had still held some hope of victory against Karl before he started using spatial magic, then later on, they were being utterly dominated.
Galactus's eyes were practically splitting with rage.
In this universe, beings with astonishing mastery over space were hardly rare.
Or rather, most powerful beings had at least some degree of spatial ability.
Even Odin, who specialized in the Law of Lightning, could still use spatial teleportation.
Galactus himself was the same.
To devour planets, he naturally possessed formidable spatial power.
Ordinary magic simply could not do anything to him.
But Karl's understanding of space ran far too deep, and his power was far too great.
Galactus's own command over spatial power simply wasn't enough to interfere with Karl's control.
A mere human, born with a natural lifespan of less than a century.
How could such a weak species possibly possess such terrifying talent?
Even across the endless Multiverse, this was absurdly monstrous.
Galactus found it hard to believe.
Though shock churned inside him, his movements did not stop for even a moment.
"Stop using energy attacks. Fight him head-on!"
"Thanos, use whatever you've got!"
"I can leave safely. Can you?"
Galactus shouted loudly.
Then he activated the power within his armor and switched to close combat.
Relying on the fact that this armor was merely a projection of his true body armor, Galactus believed he would not come out at a loss.
So he charged in first.
Bathed in blue light, his fist carried strength that absolutely could not be underestimated.
With one punch, even outer space itself seemed to twist.
His power was simply too immense. The strength of his body had been pushed to its very limit.
An ordinary person would naturally avoid such an attack if they could.
But Karl was different.
He was a successor of Kamar-Taj.
His magic was formidable, and his close combat was just as terrifying.
After all, Agamotto, Kamar-Taj's founding patriarch, was hardly the sort anyone would mistake for a frail scholar at first glance.
As Agamotto's successor, how could Karl possibly lose in a contest of presence?
"Galactus, come on. Let me see what you've got!"
Karl said excitedly.
He rolled up his sleeves, exposing his bare arms beneath.
Then, without another word, he threw a punch.
Bang!
A muffled impact erupted from both of their bodies.
There was no sound in outer space, yet the noise still seemed to thunder inside Galactus's body.
It was the sound of his bones shaking violently under the force of that immense power.
"Again."
Karl spoke with excitement.
He rushed forward once more, his fist driving straight toward Galactus's chest.
Galactus's expression changed drastically. He crossed both arms in front of himself to block.
Karl's punch was heavy and unstoppable.
Galactus was sent flying.
Boom!
A massive asteroid was smashed to pieces when Galactus crashed into it.
Karl was just about to press the advantage and continue the assault—
When Thanos suddenly struck, hurling a punch straight at Karl.
But the space in front of his fist seemed to twist.
"The Law of Force?"
"So this is your trump card at last?"
Karl smiled with satisfaction.
The Law of Force lost to no other Law.
Once comprehended to its peak, it was equally capable of destroying heaven and earth.
Pure, overwhelming force could shatter any other Law. It was unquestionably one of the supreme Laws that deserved to stand at the summit.
Thanos's hidden card truly was astonishing.
However—
Karl had also comprehended the Law of Force.
Now it would depend on whose understanding of that Law ran deeper.
With a thought, Karl likewise gathered that power into his fist.
His calf muscles tensed, he stepped forward, and threw a punch.
The sheer strength of it made everything before him warp.
Thanos's face changed when he saw that power.
But he still gritted his teeth and charged straight in.
His huge fist collided directly with Karl's.
Two manifestations of the same Law crashed into one another.
At the center of their clashing fists, space twisted continuously.
It was as if a black hole had appeared between their hands, and the surrounding time itself had frozen.
However—
In the very next second, time lurched back into motion.
Thanos shot away like a meteor.
He had expected something like this.
But when it truly happened, humiliation still burned in his heart.
As an Eternal, he was one of the strongest among his race.
His physical abilities surpassed ordinary people by an immeasurable margin.
And yet he had still lost?
Even after comprehending a Law, he still couldn't overpower Karl?
What kind of monster was this?
The Infinity Stones in Thanos's hand released their own radiance, and his body abruptly came to a halt.
Grinding his teeth, Thanos charged in once more.
At the same time, Galactus broke free from the shattered asteroid debris and came crashing back like a meteor.
The two of them formed a two-pronged pincer attack against Karl.
Karl, however, remained utterly calm.
Only when both attacks were nearly upon him did he calmly raise both hands.
Then he caught both of their attacks head-on.
Fist and palm collided with a thunderous impact.
Both Galactus and Thanos felt a stifling pressure in their chests.
The two exchanged a glance and attacked at the same time.
Galactus's fist drove toward Karl's lower back, while Thanos, killing intent blazing, aimed straight for Karl's head.
One body shone with the brilliant glow of blue armor.
The other's fist was wrapped in the Law of Force, making it look terrifying beyond measure.
And Karl?
His expression stayed relaxed.
With nothing more than a twist of his wrist, immense strength exploded outward. Thanos stumbled involuntarily.
Karl used the motion to drag him across.
In the next instant, Thanos was pulled directly in front of him.
Galactus's enormous fist slammed straight into Thanos.
Thanos was blasted away by that punch.
Their combined assault—
Had been neutralized by Karl with effortless ease.
Every powerful being who witnessed that scene lost their voice.
A single question rose uncontrollably in their minds.
Was this kid even human?
