Albur stared at the locations of the high energy source points, one is located in front of them 3 kilometers away, another is below their feet, which matches Rhea's statement that the fifth core is at B7.
Albur stared at the high energy source point which is in front of them. Though the device did not state exactly how to get to it, it just stated how far it is from them horizontally, not counting walls and blockages on the road.
Albur strapped the rifle back onto his back using a rope to free out his only hand to hold onto the energy detector. He had the back of his hand facing forwards, allowing the flash light's light of the his watch to brighten the road in front of him.
He began walking forwards. Mysty turned to him, she cocked her pistols and followed him, while keeping her eyes focused on their surroundings.
The energy detector showed numerous energy signs roaming around the floor, meaning there are virus lifeforms down here. By now they haven't seen any Glitched Ones down here, only normal lifeforms, alpha virus lifeforms and tiny consumer lifeforms. The fibrous virus substances on the walls only glow purple lights, indicating the corrupt splinters haven't affected this floor yet.
This floor is unusually quiet, the farther they walk, the louder their footsteps sound. After quite a while of walking, they noticed ruins of a metro station. They spotted vending machines, ticket register and magnetic rails among the ruins. Which is a good sign that means they are approaching closer to the fourth core.
But then, while Albur is pointing the energy detector around, he noticed something strange on the hologram. Other than the extremely high thermal emission from the core, the detector picked up a thermal emission under a pile of rocks and debris of ceilings. Albur stopped in front of that pile of rocks, Mysty noticed he stopped.
"Why'd you stop?"
Albur stared at the pile of rocks, and looked at the energy detector.
"There's a life sign in this pile of rocks?"
"Huh?"
Mysty walked to him, Albur showed her the energy detector's hologram. The energy detector shows that the life sign is still alive.
"Could it be a virus lifeform?"
"Should we get it out?"
"Might as well leave it here...."
"But what if its a human survivor?"
"Uh-...this...."
Albur stared at the pile of rocks, he can't be sure if it is a human or a virus lifeform. Though he thought of it really is a virus lifeform, might as well serve it as a good deed, if it doesn't attack.
"Let's make it snappy."
They put down their weapons, Albur put the energy detector into his pocket. They started removing rocks off the rubble. The life sign was buried deep in the pile, for Albur and Mysty had been digging the pile for a while. It's surprising it is still alive.
Mysty took out her adventure hiking stick, she drove the hook of her hiking stick into the rubble, making the rocks slide down quickly. Albur pushed all the rocks off harder, slowly some parts of the life sign buried in the pile is revealed.
Albur took a close look at that body part of the life sign, but was terrified seeing it. It is a barrel of a certain firearm, Albur dug further, and soon found out its a minigun, it's dripping virus liquid.
Albur's body shook, a cold sweat rolled down his face, he slowly backed away, while breathing heavily. Mysty looked at him, confused.
"Albur? What are you doing?"
"Mysty...." Albur's lips shook,
"Stay away from that pile.....leave that life sign alone..."
Mysty raised an eyebrow, she looked at that pile, but despite her confusion, she backed away from it. She dropped the rocks she is holding on her hands onto the floor.
"What do you mean?"
Just then, the pile began trembling, Albur and Mysty's attention was caught by it. Albur quickly rushed towards Mysty and grabbed her by the shoulder before pulling her away.
The pile begun shaking even more violently, then, the minigun barrel Albur saw just now thrusted out of the pile. Then, a mechanical limb thrusted out of the opposite side where the minigun barrel thrusted out, it turns out to be a robot claw.
"Wait...this is....."
Albur slowly picked up his rifle, he anxiously back away and begun charging up a Virus Corruption.
"AWWWWW SNAP...there's no way..."
The life sign in the pile began to emerge, the pile of rocks and debris collapsed. It moved its body violently, throwing the rocks into the air. Dust covered its body and pebbles fall all over it as it stood up.
The life sign's silhouette looks like a 3.4 meter creature with purple liquid dripping all over its body,
It has a minigun as its right arm, a robot left claw with extra fingers, a square head and broken alarm,
its screen split vertically in half, revealing a mouth with razor sharp teeth hollowed inside its head.
None other than
Siwel
has that horrible appearance.
Mysty finally understood what Albur meant, she picked up her twin pistols and aimed at Siwel. Siwel shook the dust off its body, it opened its mouth and breathed heavily, with saliva dripping out of it.
"Where...I....? What...this....place.....?"
It suddenly looked up sharply, its breathing began to speed up. Its eyes locked onto Mysty, she backed away more and charged up two orbs.
"Hungry.....H-UNGRY....food...COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Siwel shook its body violently, it swung its head rapidly and rose it into the air.
"SWAAAAAAARRAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Siwel roared loudly, the entire underground structure shook.
Albur pushed Mysty aside gently and fired his rifle.
"Virus Corruption!"
The shot's recoil made Albur fall backwards, his rifle slid away from him. The virus corruption shot flew straight towards Siwel and hit its chest. The corruption slowly damaged Siwel's body, but for some unknown reason, it did nothing significant.
Mysty fired the charged orbs as well, Siwel raised its claw left hand, it then vanished, the orbs hit the wall of the car park, sending cracks to spread all over the structure. Albur and Mysty backed away in horror, recognizing that this is digital world traveling.
"AWWWWWW SNAP, SNAP, SNAP, SNAP SNAP!"
Albur charged another Virus Corruption to its full power, ready to blow it at Siwel's face whenever it appear. Mysty also had her taser charged to maximum voltage. They pressed their back against each other's, and looked around cautiously.
Then, Siwel appeared in front of Mysty. She shocked it with her taser, Albur turned around quickly and fired Virus Corruption at it. Siwel vanished again, the shot hit the car park's wall.
"Wh- oh....f...."
Havoc's virus powers corrupted the walls of the car park, the crack spread even further. The structure began to shake, rumbling sounds can be heard, the floor began to crack and split, ceiling debris fell from the ceiling and further damaged the floor.
Siwel appeared near them, it roared as it raised its minigun, preparing to fire it. But then, it noticed the car park is falling apart, it would not want to get buried the second time. It lowered its minigun arm, then turned to charging towards the two of them.
Albur fired a Disabling Shot at it, stunning it for a while. Mysty then rushed to it and kicked it hard in the stomach, it fell backwards, hitting the ground hard.
It stood up, and shook the dust off its body. It roared again, spraying saliva at the two of them. They backed away even more, and pointed their weapons at it.
"Albur! This is going nowhere! I think you should use my powers now!"
Havoc suddenly spoke, Albur stared at the third slot of his rifle.
"Now? I can't fight properly with the Prismatic Blade! I'm down to one arm!"
"It's better to get rid of it now no?"
Siwel raised its head into the air and opened its arms before roaring again. Albur hesitated for a moment, he clicked his tongue, he pressed the rifle against his chest, then reached for the energy provider on the rifle.
Siwel shook its head and opened its mouth. But then,
"SKKKKKKKRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The two heard screeching sounds coming from behind Siwel. Siwel turned around, Albur and Mysty looked towards that place as well.
Siwel closed its mouth, then sniffed the air, it flinched lightly, it picked up a scent.
"Food....Food...hungry...chase it!!!!!!!!!"
Siwel roared, it turned back to glance at Albur and Mysty. It screeched, then headed to the direction the screech came from. To it, they are hard preys that would not surrender easily, it's better to pursue those which is easier for it to take down as it is starving right now.
Albur and Mysty looked at each other, then looked back at the direction Siwel headed towards.
"Let's skedaddle."
"Just about to suggest that, agree."
The two of them quickly sprinted away,

At the other side of the car park, roughly 200 meters away from the battle field of Siwel, Albur and Mysty. A pack consisting of 5 Glitched Ones entered B5 through a hole made from the intense fight earlier. One of them was biting a corpse of a certain virus lifeform, that corpse's eyes are filled with tears in the color of purple.
The Glitched alpha sniffed the air, it screeched at the member that is biting onto the corpse, it dropped it on the floor. The Alpha reached for it and took the first bite, the others followed as it finished chewing its first bite.
Then, they heard heavy footsteps. The alpha cautiously turned to the direction the sound came from. From the dark, a silhouette standing on two emerged from the dark. It's Siwel, it stared at the pack, it stuck out its tongue, and lowered its body.
The alpha snarled at Siwel, the other pack members all rose their heads and hissed at it as well. Siwel growled at them, then rose its minigun arm and fired at the alpha. The damaged minigun fired a barrage of bullets with mix of laser bullets and GK bullets, it hurt the alpha and made it retreat.
The Glitched Ones screeched and pounced towards Siwel. 2 of them hopped onto Siwel's head and started biting it, the other two smashed their bodies against Siwel's and bit its leg. Siwel grabbed onto one of the Glitched One and tossed it at the other one biting Siwel's leg. It then vanished into the digital world, the Glitched ones looked around in confusion.
Then, Siwel appeared behind the Glitched alpha, it grabbed onto its head and directly pulled it off. The other Glitched Ones backed away in fear as Siwel devoured the head of the Glitched alpha. It roared again as it grabbed onto the body of the alpha and slowly devoured it.
One of the pack members roared and lunged at Siwel, but Siwel simply grabbed onto it and smashed it into the ground. The others ran towards Siwel and each one of them bit onto Siwel's limbs, hoping to control it. Siwel simply vanished into the digital world and reappeared nearby.
It then aimed the minigun at the glitched ones, the minigun glowed a bright light and fired out a beam of laser. That fatally damaged the Glitched Ones, they all fell onto the ground, unable to get up.
Siwel stared at the minigun, it turned it around, studying it.
"New way...hunt.....fun.....useful....."
Siwel cackled as it stepped onto the corpse of one of the Glitched Ones, making it spit out blood.
