Aarav spun around.
Nothing.
But then he noticed something terrifying.
Fresh drops of blood were appearing on the floor—
one by one—
moving forward as if an invisible person was walking.
The blood trail stopped in front of an old metal locker.
His hands trembled as he opened it.
Inside lay a dusty diary.
The first page read:
"If you are reading this, you are already trapped."
Aarav's heart pounded.
The diary listed names of former students.
Next to most names, only one word was written:
Missing.
He flipped to the last page.
The final name made his breath stop.

"That's… me," he whispered.
