Ryn gave a welcoming smile as he continued.
"Visit the mission hall by dawn tomorrow."
Arthur nodded before asking. "When I'm not on a mission?"
"I advice to use the training hall."
Arthur nodded again.
Ryn took a step back.
"One last thing."
Arthur looked at him.
"This division grows stronger because our Commander would do anything to make you grow stronger."
Arthur answered. "That works for me."
Ryn smiled.
"Then you'll fit in fine."
He turned to leave, then added over his shoulder.
"Get some rest. I have high hopes for you, as well as the Commander "
Arthur nodded as he watched him walk away.
Then he looked at the key in his hand.
A room.
A squad.
A direction.
It wasn't salvation or safety.
But a starting point.
He closed the door behind him and stood still for a moment.
The room was quiet.
Not the uneasy kind of quiet he had grown up with, where silence meant something bad was about to happen.
This was different. It was… calm.
