A wave of system notifications rang across Arthur's vision, flooding his sight with rewards and intent points, but he pushed them aside without looking.
What mattered was the result.
He had won.
Cleanly.
Absolutely.
Arthur looked at the fallen hobgoblin and stretched his shoulders.
"That was quicker than expected."
A faint smile appeared.
But then he sensed it again.
The distortion behind him.
The humans. They were much closer now.
He clicked his tongue.
"No time to relax."
He wiped his dagger clean and turned toward the remaining camp.
His work here wasn't finished yet. And neither was the hunt.
Arthur didn't intend to waste time on the goblins left.
At this point, they were only standing there, frozen, waiting. Their crude weapons trembled in their hands, their eyes wide with fear. The will to fight had already left them.
They were simply waiting to be killed.
Arthur stepped forward.
