Chapter 30 - Chapter - 30 Night of Slaughter

Chapter - 30 Night of Slaughter

"So, this was the place," said one person whose whole body was covered in black cloth.

"Yes," said another person and continued, "Let's continue our mission."

The first person smiled.

"I've been waiting for this."

Outside the Beastmen Town

The forest around the town was quiet, and with the night, it was difficult to see clearly.

One person covered his whole body in black clothes. On his face, only his eyes were visible—his right eye glowed red, and his left eye glowed yellow. He was wearing a skull mask.

The other person wore a sharp metal mask that covered one side of his face, with pointed edges and a rough, claw-like design. It looked dark and worn, like it had been through many battles. The other side of his face was visible—a normal human face with a calm eye and short, messy hair. One ear was slightly pointed. He wore a high-collared outfit.

After that, both of them walked toward the beastmen village entrance.

Two beastmen were guarding the main entrance.

They noticed them.

"Hey! What are you guys doing?" one beastman said and continued, "This is our area—"

He stopped as he noticed something.

The one with different eyes raised his hand from up to down.

The beastman was confused.

Then suddenly—

"Wh...at?" he said.

He was cut into two parts.

The other beastman was panicked and confused.

He took one step back—

"Enemy atta—" the other beastman shouted.

But before he could finish his words—

"...ck."

The masked man grabbed his neck and forcefully broke it.

After that, he threw the beastman's body to the ground.

Another beastman who heard the noise started ringing the emergency bell to alert the warriors.

"Why are they ringing the bell?" said the one wearing the sharp metal mask.

"Well, we were ordered to erase their entire race," said the person with different eyes and continued, "It's easier this way. Those fools will come to find us."

He gave a sharp smile.

"I wonder if I'll find a fine girl or woman here for the night," said the metal mask person while laughing.

After that, they went inside the beastmen town and killed everyone who came in their way.

Warriors were killed.

Women who tried to escape were killed.

Childrens killed.

"There are no fine women here," said the metal mask person. "What a boring mission."

"What do you want from us?" said one beastman warrior.

"You mere ant dares to talk to us?" said the person with different eyes.

In an instant—

"What?"

The beastman's head fell off.

"Weak," said the person with different eyes.

Weak.

Killed.

Weak.

Killed...

Then they looked back.

There was only a pool of beastmen blood.

"Wow! What a nice view," said the metal mask person with a smile.

Hours later

They had almost killed half of the beastmen town.

"So, this is the place where the royal family lives," said the metal mask person.

The different-eyed person looked up and saw a mansion-like house.

He smiled.

Inside the Royal

"What should we do, Your Majesty?" said the commander of the beastmen while kneeling before the king.

"There are two invaders who are killing our race."

"Two people..." said the beastmen king.

Without wasting any time, he continued,

"Take all the guards and kill them. MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT LEAVE THIS PLACE ALIVE!"

The commander looked at the king.

"What?" he said and continued, "Then what about you and your family?"

"I can protect my family," the beastmen king replied,

"—and the guards need your help."

The beastmen king took a long breath.

"KILL THEM," he said in a cold voice.

The commander nodded and replied in a heavy voice,

"Okay."

He continued, "Let's go."

After that, he left the mansion.

The beastmen king looked at the ceiling, then turned to his right.

The beastmen queen was standing there.

A graceful woman with long pink hair woven in braids, soft blue eyes, and a gentle, elegant aura. Cherry blossoms seemed to follow her presence, and her kimono flowed like spring itself—calm, beautiful, and warm.

She looked at her husband.

A tall, muscular man with long silver hair, cold sharp eyes, and faint beast traits. A fur cloak rested on his shoulders, and dark markings ran across his body—giving him a calm but dangerous, king-like aura.

She was worried about him.

The beast king looked at her.

"Don't worry about them," he said and continued, "We will kill them and—"

He paused and took a long breath.

"You escape from this place with our children."

His wife looked at him in shock.

"There is no way I'm going to leave you behind," she replied.

The beastmen king smiled.

"Do you really think these insects can defeat me?" he said.

"But—"

As she tried to say something, the beastmen king cut her off.

"You just take the children with you," he said and continued, "This will all end in a short time."

She looked at him.

"Once I reach a safe place with our children, I will come back," she said.

After that, she left the mansion.

"What a foolish woman she is," the beastmen king thought, then he smiled.

After that, he sat on the king's chair.

"The two people who attacked us," he thought and continued,

"They are killing my people in my territory. That means there are two reasons for this. First, they are incredibly stupid for attacking us. Second, they must be incredibly strong."

He looked at the entrance of the king's chamber.

"Now, all I have to do is wait for the commander."

On the ground floor

The beastmen guards were on alert.

They saw the different-eyed person, his whole body covered in black cloth, wearing a skull mask. His eyes were clearly visible.

"Kill him—" said one guard.

But in an instant, he killed them all.

"You guys are far too weak," said that person.

After that, he went to the first floor and saw the commander along with many guards.

Then he smiled.

"You must be the commander," he said.

The commander stood there.

A towering, battle-scarred man with rugged muscles, a thick grey beard, and cold, hardened eyes. A heavy fur cloak rested on his shoulders, his body marked by countless battles—his presence alone felt like war.

"That's enough for you," said the commander.

"What?" said the different-eyed person and continued,

"Enough? Are you kidding me?"

The different-eyed person stared into the commander's eyes, and he stared back.

Then—

Both of them disappeared.

The fight began.
