On the nameless deserted island, the Blackbird landed, and Charles and the others got off the jet one after another.
Alex narrowed his eyes slightly and said, "If I were Shaw, I'd kill Charles first."
Because now, Shaw's helmet was on Erik's head. Without the helmet's protection, Charles could easily enter Shaw's mind.
Just like in the movie, once Shaw's movements were controlled, Erik would only need a single coin to kill Shaw with ease.
Shaw's ability to absorb energy was indeed absurd, but in every other respect he was just an ordinary man. If he was caught off guard and shot with a pistol, he would still die.

[At this Moment, On the Deserted Island]
Looking at the deformed and twisted nuclear submarine, Alex(Havok) said quietly, "Maybe we won't even have to do anything."
"I think so too," Hank said, "At least, there's no way I'd survive something like that."
Erik shook his head, "It's not that simple."
Just as he spoke, a loud noise suddenly came from inside the distant nuclear submarine.
Then a point of light moved. A moment later, the thick steel hull was cut away.
Behind the fallen section of the submarine's hull, a figure walked out gracefully from inside the submarine.
Shaw!
At this moment, he had already absorbed a huge amount of nuclear energy. His whole body gave off terrifying heat, causing the submarine to melt, while the temperature around him continued to rise.
Seeing Shaw, Charles reached toward his temple. He was going to control Shaw's thoughts and create an opening for his teammates.
His tactic was undoubtedly the right one. However, Shaw didn't waste time talking like he had in the movie. He raised his hand and fired a nuclear energy beam from his fingertips.
Hank reacted quickly. Making use of Beast's agility, he threw himself at Charles and knocked him to the ground.
The nuclear energy beam passed over them and disappeared into the depths of the island. A moment later, a violent explosion erupted deep inside the island. After a fireball rose into the air, thick black smoke billowed up.
"That's way too scary," Alex(Havok) was startled. After a great deal of practice, he could now concentrate his energy in his chest and fire it.
But he knew his "chest cannon" wasn't as powerful as the nuclear energy beam Shaw had just fired.
Darwin licked his lips and said, "I wonder if I could take one hit from him."
"You'd better not try it lightly," Raven said, equally tense.
Erik shouted, "Charles, it's too dangerous here."
"You, Hank, and Raven, leave first."
Charles didn't insist on staying. As long as Shaw kept firing those beams, he had no chance to concentrate.
Instead, if he got aboard the Blackbird, he could look for an opportunity to influence Shaw from a distance.
After all, the range of his telepathic ability was quite large.
As long as he could see the target, he could affect it.
The young Professor X immediately grabbed Hank and Raven and hurried toward the Blackbird.
Shaw looked at the Blackbird, intending to destroy it.
Erik shouted, "You won't!"
He controlled the submarine behind Shaw. With a sweep of both hands, the submarine swung sideways toward Shaw.
Without even looking, Shaw raised a hand and fired a beam from his fingertips.
With a slight movement of his finger, the submarine split into two. He stood right in the gap between the broken halves without moving, while the wreckage passed by on either side of him.
At the same time, Alex(Havok) also made his move. With a shout, he fired a red beam from his chest.
He unleashed his "chest cannon," but when it hit Shaw, Shaw continuously absorbed it.
Then Shaw sent the "chest cannon" back at Alex. Darwin shouted, and a layer of black armor like steel appeared over his body, blocking the blast.
He blocked it, but the explosion still sent him flying.
Erik reached out and controlled the submarine fragments scattered across the ground, sending them flying toward Shaw. They wrapped around Shaw's arms and legs as he tried to pin him down first.
"No way."
Shaw smiled, then suddenly released a shockwave.
Boom!
The submarine fragments flew in every direction. A ring of fire spread outward, sending Erik and the others flying. Even the Blackbird, which had just started taking off, was affected, swaying drunkenly in midair.
Inside the aircraft, Charles pressed himself against the window, one hand on his temple as he tried to control Shaw's movements.
Suddenly, Shaw raised his hand on the island and fired a nuclear energy beam from his fingertips, striking the Blackbird's engine.
BOOM!
The Blackbird's engine exploded, sending debris flying everywhere. The aircraft immediately lost control and spun toward the sea.
The sudden change threw Charles away, naturally breaking his concentration and preventing him from controlling Shaw any longer.
On the island, Erik shook his head and got to his feet on the beach. He saw the Blackbird, with its tail on fire, spinning overhead as it fell toward the distant sea.
Magneto quickly raised both hands, caught hold of the aircraft with his powers, and tried to lower it safely onto the water.
But not far away, Shaw stomped the ground hard, releasing a burst of energy that sent Erik flying.
The Blackbird immediately dropped toward the sea. But because Erik had already controlled it for a short while, it was no longer spinning. It was a small blessing in the midst of disaster.
Splash!
The aircraft crashed into the sea, throwing up huge waves. It bobbed up and down in the water, sending Charles and the others tumbling helplessly inside.
Shaw released the nuclear energy within his body again, creating thrust that launched him into the sky like a rocket.
Once in midair, he suddenly dived toward the Blackbird, clenched his fist, released heat of several thousand degrees along with radiation, and slammed it hard into the aircraft.
A ring of energy immediately burst from the Blackbird. The surging force tore apart the aircraft's outer shell, causing the fuselage to break apart.
With a single punch, Shaw smashed the aircraft to pieces. The people inside either fell into the water or were blasted away and knocked unconscious.
Charles was knocked unconscious and fell into the sea.
A cold look flashed through Shaw's eyes as he prepared to finish them all off.
At that moment, steel fragments of all sizes came whistling toward him like meteors.
Magneto!
With fury blazing in his eyes, Erik roared as he used his powers, controlling hundreds of steel fragments and blasting them toward Shaw like missiles.
Shaw let out a cold laugh. A blazing light suddenly shone around him, rapidly melting the incoming steel fragments into molten iron.
The glowing molten iron rained down onto the sea. Only then did Shaw point at Charles and say,
"Erik, you're still as useless as you were when you were a child."
"Come on."
"Don't say I didn't give you a chance."
"I'll give you three seconds to save your friend."
"When I count to three, if you still can't stop me, then say goodbye to your friend."
"So, let's begin."
"One."
Erik's whole body trembled, and his pupils contracted violently. The scene of his mother being shot appeared before his eyes once again.
It overlapped with the scene before him now.
"No!"
"Shaw, I won't let you succeed!"
Erik roared in fury. Pushing his power to its limit, he actually lifted every remaining piece of submarine wreckage on the island into the air and hurled it all at Shaw at once.
