Meanwhile, back at home, without being aware that Hannah was striking a deal on his behalf with Yasmin, Miles slept soundly and woke up just in time for dinner.
While eating normally like usual, he noticed how Cassie kept staring at him and flicked a bean at her face.
"Ouch, what was that for?" Cassie blurted, pouting innocently at the bean that had landed on her plate.
She was about to reciprocate the gesture when she suddenly realized why he had flicked the bean at her and decided to keep shut.
"Anyone want to tell me how their day went?" Hannah suddenly asked, sipping a glass of water as she gave them a scanning glance.
"Same as yesterday, exam pressure," Miles said with a shrug. "Nothing much, just the usual stuff. Hung out at a karaoke place to sing out the stress."
"Well, I was practicing," Cassie chipped in, causing a smile to spread across Hannah's lips.
"I'm proud of y'all." Hannah beamed and took another sip from her glass of water.
