We went to the event—the most awaited one.
I already knew Kiefer, Yuri, Aries, and Angelo were going to attend it too.
Honestly, I kept wondering how I would face them… seriously.
We obviously went in with masks on.
One by one, Kiefer, Yuri, Angelo, and Aries won awards—back to back.
Our whole family were award holders.
And then the host called us for the first prize.
After the face reveal…
That witch woman was there.
She gave us a death stare, and I returned it without hesitation.
Jas was really bold—she literally challenged her from the stage.
I chuckled a little and stopped her.
We stepped off the stage.
Percy and Dane left early because some girls were already bumping into them.
Kiefer, Aries, Angelo, and Yuri were staring at us like they had seen a ghost.
Kiefer and Aries stepped toward us—
But suddenly, I heard a familiar voice.
Lia: "Guys!"
Jas ran toward her like Lia was some grand prize.
But this brat accidentally pushed me in the process.
I was about to fall—
But two strong hands caught me.
At the exact same moment, I felt someone's lips on mine.
I opened my eyes.
Big mistake.
It was Kiefer.
He was on top of me, his lips brushing mine—not deep, just gentle.
I pushed him away immediately.
"Aghh! What the hell are you doing?!"
Kiefer: "I helped you from kissing the floor instead."
"WTF?!"
Lia: "Great, Jay Jay. What were you trying to do?"
"Nothing! She pushed me."
I pointed at Jas.
Jas: "Excuse me! I was just going to hug her."
"Have you not seen her your whole life? You ran like you were going to claim an award from her."
Jas: "Come on, it's good. At least someone old didn't catch you."
She laughed.
Annoying.
Jas: "Who? Me?"
"Obviously you."
Kiefer: "Jay Jay, I need to talk to you."
Aries: "Kokey—sorry, Jay Jay. How did you end up becoming a CEO?"
Jas: "Wait—what? Kokey? And who are you, by the way?"
Aries: "Her elder brother. That's what I call her."
Jas: "Ohh! Yah—Kuya Aries. Nice to meet youuu. I'm basically your sibling too. We're all from the same mother, except that foreign brat. Dane and I are Jay Jay's twins."
Aries: "Twins? Jay, you never told me you had so many siblings besides Percy."
I just watched them quietly.
Meanwhile, Kiefer's gaze was still fixed on me.

And why are you suddenly so interested in us now?
You didn't even accept me as your sister back then—and you, the king of—
I stopped.
I remembered where I was.

"Don't you dare talk to me. Understand?"
"Jas, come with me."
Jas: "Come on, Jay. Let me talk to Kuya—"
