Chapter 61 - CHAPTER 58

I was engrossed in work when Thomas entered my cabin. "What have you planned, Dante?" Thomas questioned as he entered the cabin. "It's been three months." I hummed and chuckled at that. "You can fool your dad, not me. So, please tell me what's your plan?" I feigned innocence, but I knew Thomas was not going to buy it. "You are up to something, right?" I sighed at that.

I got up from the chair and leaned on the table so I could face Thomas properly. "I did my best to avoid whatever I was feeling in the past; trust me, I succeeded to some extent," I stated the obvious to Thomas. "I was forced to get involved in Rowan's life, and I never thought of doing such a thing. I thought I left him for good." I exhaled a sharp breath when I remembered how shattered I felt when I distanced myself from Rowan. That was the hardest decision, much needed. I couldn't act upon my feelings; I just couldn't when I saw where his happiness lay. I left him for good. "I have made up my mind, and I am going to pursue him. It's high time, and I am going to make him mine." Thomas groaned at that. "Dante, don't be stupid. Leave him for good; you have already meddled and messed things up in his life. I nodded solemnly, not denying anything. "I have; because of that, I can't keep running away from him. I am done ignoring the signs, Thomas. They are fucking many, which I couldn't shrug off even if I wanted to." I spoke each word in agitation and in a sharp tone.

We went silent, and I knew Thomas was worried about me. "Leave the boy alone; you both are going to get hurt, Dante. You know about his..." I stopped him at that. I started to scratch my eyebrow, thinking about everything that happened when we spent time together, especially at night. "I can't, not anymore," I stated firmly. "It's high time; I can't ignore the signs, Thomas. I just can't." "Dante, the man has a life." I chuckled at that. "Decide whether he is a kid or a man." Thomas rolled his eyes at that.

"Rowan has a life; he has that; he has this; Dante, you have done this; Dante, you should not do that; stop it", I huffed as I ranted. "You guys should stop this. You were not the one who witnessed what I have witnessed, Thomas. Trust me, I am not blind nor stupid enough to shrug things off or be nonchalant." I sighed, my legs carried toward the window, and I leaned my head on the glass.

"You guys are not the ones who witnessed how he snuggles at night, holding me tight like I would vanish if he loosened his grip. The way he moans unintentionally into my neck, turning me damn wild. The way he rubs into mine is not a sane thing to do, and trust me, I didn't lose my sanity at the moment and act on it." Thomas groaned, and I knew I was making him uncomfortable, but I needed to say this. I am not stupid enough to drag Rowan because of my desire and want. "While sleeping, a hand would never roam here and there, especially if you know where." I stopped at that, and he got the point. "I would be a dead body beside him, but when his hand roams, I wake up with a jerk. Many nights he has tested me thoroughly." Thomas was opening his mouth and closing it, clearly confused, not knowing what to say. "Why the hell? His hands roam there; they should roam somewhere else, right?" I questioned him, to which he rolled his eyes. "Things happen while we are asleep, Dante." I coughed at that. "I was scared so many nights; in the middle of the night, I would crawl to the couch, and he had a problem with that too." I groaned, remembering our banter in the middle of the night. "He might be sex deprived." I nodded at that. "I know that, but the way he was expressing it is pointing at something else, and I am going to cross-confirm." Thomas huffed at that. "So, you made up your mind?" I smiled at his statement. "I have, but not before confirming something." He furrowed his eyebrows but didn't ask to elaborate. Thank God for that. I told him too much, and he hates to hear such things from me. "You are not half of the hook, and I guess you know that too." I huffed at that. "I know my dad. This time, he will come to know only the things that I want him to know." Thomas nodded at that. "Well, you have made up your mind. Just know when to back off this time; don't push and don't force things on him." I nodded firmly. "I would never do that. If my intuition is wrong, I will back off, Thomas. I promise you that." He let out a breath by nodding his head, and I hummed in anticipation for tomorrow; eagerness overloaded.

I was at the pub, along with Davis and a few other friends, sipping a drink. Davis was humming at something, and a few friends were making out. A low groan left my mouth as I saw them. "So, how are things going with Dante? Did you guys meet?" I groaned as I heard Dante's name. "Don't talk about him; he is a bloody liar. He replied to my text, that too in cryptic words, nothing more or less." I sighed in irritation. "So, after you left, you didn't meet him, not even once?" "He is damn busy with his overseas project, which is a bullshit reason if you ask me. He is preparing to ghost me just like before." I stated what was running through my mind. He is totally planning that. "But he is in contact." Davis pointed out. "Well, it's been three months, and he never even once uttered a word about meeting." My hands were in the air, in exaggeration. Davis hummed, calculating something. "And you are angry," Davis stated. I was not just angry; I was boiling inside. Well, if he doesn't want this, then fuck it, I don't care. "You should release some steam on the dance floor." I smiled at the suggestion. "I was thinking the same." "I have found my bait for the night," Davis proudly said, eyeing a guy. He is damn good at this. "Well, good luck, and wish me the same." He chuckled, and we started moving to the bar section. It's high time; I am done talking, and yeah, I should find someone.

I gulped my second drink, and I started swaying to the beat. The dance floor started to call me. Davis didn't waste any time, already talking with the person he was eyeing. Getting guys is too easy for him; I mean, he could get anyone with his charming smile and little flirt, but that approach didn't work on the guy he is crushing on from college. His luck sucks sometimes, and he is still hung up on the same guy who doesn't give a damn about him.

I made my way to the dance floor, humming to the beat. I was in the middle of the floor, dancing with anyone and getting lost in this crowded place. Drinks, music, and the energetic dancers pulled me in, and it didn't take time for me to forget everything else for a while. I gave in completely to the sensation. I swayed; I sang as if my energy skyrocketed as I stepped onto the dance floor.

I was in my own world, dancing to the beat along with a few girls, when hands wrapped around my waist. I was surprised by that; my eyes went wide at the sensation I felt. I didn't protest at the sudden connection, and I continued dancing. The body was also moving along with me but didn't close the gap between us. The hand started moving, and it went inside my shirt, held a firm grip on my waist, and pressed harder where it was. I shuddered when my nerves stood at the sensation that I felt just by a touch. Involuntarily, my hands went to the hands that were on my waist, and I was connected with a very soft hand. I sighed when I knew it was some woman, playing games. I hummed at the excitement I felt.

The figure moved closer, towering over me, and I felt hot breath on my neck. I almost moaned at that, and involuntarily my grip on the hands got tighter. The hand moved inside my shirt along with me, exploring and feeling my body. My breath hitched, and I jerked, wanting to see the person, but the firm hands on my waist held me in place. I tried a few more times but gave up, knowing I couldn't win this game this time. I was already putty in the person's hands, hardly managing. The hands didn't stop, roamed slowly, and pinched wherever it was necessary. This is crazy; I never get this hard, so fast. The sensation, the excitement, and the person's hot breath on my neck were driving me crazy. Oh god, this was different from what I had experienced before, and strangely, I was craving more and more on the damn dance floor itself. I couldn't stop my thoughts or the person, even if I wanted to.

The person's hand circled a specific place on the right side a few times, slowly circling. My breath shuddered, my throat went dry, and a hard pinch on the same place jolted fire through my entire body. My breathing was heavy; I jerked and fell on the person's body at the sensation. I was going to cum if the person didn't stop. I felt dizzy with excitement; I couldn't comprehend what was happening to me, but I yearned for more, more, and more. My south zone was throbbing like hell, and it needed immediate attention. My breath laboured, my vision was blurry, and my whole body was anticipating, waiting for more, but suddenly, things stopped. The hands were gone, and there was no one present behind me. I was shocked at that, and I immediately turned around. The people were dancing crazily, with their partners and friends in their own world. Everyone around me was too engaged to notice me, and I was confused like hell.

Did I start to imagine things? Don't tell me this is the side effect of not getting laid. Damit. I looked down; indeed, I was hard as hell—no, no. I didn't imagine shit. It happened, and where the hell was she? Gone, just like that? I groaned and dashed to the washroom.

I came back to the VIP room after taking care of the situation, in a daze and confused like hell. Davis was taken aback as he saw me. He was beside me the next second. "Are you ok?" He handed me the drink, and I took it. "I don't know," I answered honestly, still not able to digest what happened on the dance floor. "Did something happen on the dance floor?" He was in a panic, and I was giving him enough reason to feel that way. "A lot," I answered. He was alarmed. "What happened?" "Someone made me hard and vanished before taking care of it," I informed him, being all serious. For a few seconds, he went silent, and he started laughing at that. "I didn't even see her," I groaned. "What's that supposed to mean?" While still laughing, he spoke. "Her soft hands held me firmly in place, so that I couldn't move," I grunted the words. "Oh god, the feeling and the touch were totally different and addictive. The sensation, I tell you, is just beyond and was too much." I added, going back to the dreamy feeling. "That's odd, don't you think?" I don't know how I should feel about this. "I mean, she took advantage of me." "Why are you complaining about this? Can't you enjoy it?" Davis advised. "Someone is giving you a sexual thrill in your boring life; just grab it as much as you can. Who knows, she might be the one." I hummed, feeling relaxed. "Still, though, she could have revealed herself." Davis chuckled at that. "Someone likes to play the game; play along with them. If there is a next time, make sure you are having the upper hand." So, right. A girl overpowering me is humiliating. Geez, how is it even possible? How can she be so strong, or did I turn weak? No, right? She easily had the upper hand on me. She made me weak and attacked me; seduction is one of the techniques where men turn weak easily. I did sympathise a little with myself and also justified being weak. "You are right; if there is a next time, I will make sure she tastes her own medicine. I will leave her just like she left me." I groaned when I remembered how I felt betrayed and lost on the damn dance floor. "I will leave her in a crowded place," I shouted those words, and Davis chuckled.

"At last, your life is turning spicy," Davis added. "You were talking about getting laid for the past three months but didn't act on it. Let me not start about your dating life." I huffed, not getting why I didn't show any interest in anyone. It's not like my market value has gone down or something like that. My demand is at the same level, but my interest is not. "Cheers to that, Rowan. At last, someone is banging on your door; just open it and invite them. Don't think too much. " I chuckled as I rolled my eyes. Well, I am onboard to this game. Winning or losing doesn't matter; grab the opportunity. I may end up with someone, so it's win-win. I clicked the glass with Davis and sipped the drink happily.

"Welcome the new chapter with open arms, Rowan. Things have proven to be spicy, sexy as hell, fun, and exciting. What the hell more do you need? Next time, just make sure you are not going all putty; have some control and make her dance to your moves." I hummed at the thought, feeling excited, anticipating, eagerly waiting for tomorrow and giddy.
