After introducing himself, Jun was assigned a seat by the teacher.
Fuck yeah, the protagonist seat?
He slid into the last seat in the row that was next to the windows.
He looked across the room before landing on a boy that had a similar… everything to one of his favorite characters from the show.
Kirishima? But isn't his hair spiky and red? And where are all the muscles?!
It can't be him. No way.
But then his gaze went to the obvious real main cast member. Mina Ashido. Talkative girl with a huge fan base.
How the hell did I end up in the same middle school as her?
Jun shifted his gaze out the window before anyone caught him looking.
I thought Toga was gonna be my end all be all before the plot starts.
He shook his head, refocusing on schoolwork. Just focus, you can befriend her later.

By the time lunch came around, Jun got up to get a better look at the person he thought was Kirishima.
Holy shit… It's non-manly Kirishima… what the hell.
Walking past him, he could tell from some of the facial features that made him iconic.
Why is he so… different? Did I miss a backstory event in the anime?
Next on the list was Mina, he put on a friendly smile as he approached. "Hi! I'm Junya Mori, but you've heard that already, so let me tell you that I love your horns."
Mina stopped talking to her friend. Then looked at Jun in slight confusion before taking in his words, a happy smile came across her face. "Thanks, Mori-san! I'm Mina Ashido."
"You can just call me Jun, most of my friends do."
"Oh! Okay, Jun! You can call me Mina then."
Jun returned the smile. "Well, Mina-san, glad to meet you, hope you'll take care of me."
Mina blushed slightly at his smile which was directed at her. "Sure thing, Jun-san. Take care of me too!"
"Well, Mina-san, I'll let you get back to your friends. Maybe next time you can invite me."
Mina looked at her friends, then back at Jun who had already turned away. "Next time, for sure, Jun-san!"
Jun looked over his shoulder, flashing a smile before continuing away.
Initial conversation done. Now to let it bubble.
He passed by Kirishima again, noticing the guy was absentmindedly looking at a book. "If you got your hair out of your face, you'd look damn cool."
That made Kirishima look up. "What?"
"I was just saying that you look cool, why let your hair cover it?"
"I look cool?"
Jun reached over, pushing the hair out of Kirishima's face. "Yep. Damn cool."
Kirishima seemed stunned as he fumbled to find words before ultimately saying "Thanks…"
"Don't mention it, name's Junya Mori, but my friends call me Jun though."
"Eijiro Kirishima…"
"Nice to meet you, Eijiro-san. Let's get along, yeah, cool guy?"
A small smile formed on Kirishima's lips. "Yeah, let's do that Jun-san."
Jun patted Kirishima's shoulder. "Talk to you later, cool guy, enjoy your lunch."
The boy nodded, smile not leaving his face as he focused back on his book then remembered it was lunch. "Crap, gotta go eat! Thanks for the reminder Jun-san!"
Kirishima got up and disappeared into the hallway.
At least some things never change for characters, still a blockhead.

Outside of school, Jun continued his neighborhood cleanup despite it being a new city.
Using his new house as a center point, he gradually expanded further and further away.
Now that he was older, he actually picked up junk, not just trash.
Not that it compares much to that damn beach, but steady refinement is still good.
Alongside his old routine, his time at the gym targeted muscle groups that his trash runs didn't engage enough.
His personal trainer, a guy named Hiro Tsukino, was easy to get along with and even formed a second stage orb with him.
The quirk? Heavy Touch. A quirk that allowed objects to experience heavier gravity. But only up to 1.33 times the original weight.
The side effect was the more mass the object had, the more you sweated.
Weird, but manageable with another quirk he had gotten from one of his old classmates that let him sweat less, only experiencing dry mouth.
The quirk worked well with another one of his old copied quirks. Biological Blueprint.
That quirk allowed him to watch the muscles before serious strain was put on them.
Low level Dragonball training? Or would this be more like Rock Lee if I applied it to weighted clothes?
Jun slid on a weighted vest, then applied heavy touch. The 20 pounds instantly became 22.
Drops of sweat formed on his brow before he activated his minor quirk, Sweat less, which was name pending due to not knowing the original name.
Now all Jun felt was sudden dryness in his mouth that he tried to get rid of with his water bottle.
"That's... annoying but it saves me from dehydration via sweating."
He grabbed his trash bag and started his routine clean up route.
Hiro said his max was increasing an object's weight by a third, I can only do a tenth and that's with a second stage orb. So what… that's like 30% of his max?
He picked up a random magazine that looked torn, throwing it into his trash bag before jogging onwards.
Quirk training? Would it work for me to push these quirks or am I locked to what the orb gives me?
Jun lost in thought, kept thinking about how to improve his cache of quirks but before long he had made his way back home, completing today's loop.
"Okay, let's just take it a day at a time, Quirk training can wait until I'm built like a statue."

Time passed and Jun got more situated in his new city. The texts from Toga came every day.
They were updating each other, Toga was saying she missed having a friend close by.
Jun took the texts as someone who needed to talk, to be heard. So he called almost every day, letting her just ramble as he listened.
But one day she let something slip.
"Then when I came home mom just…"
"What did your mom do?" Jun asked, suddenly more attentive.
"Nothing… forget about it."
"Toga, I'm here when you're ready to talk."
"No... you're not Jun. You're not here."
Jun felt his hand on the phone tighten. "You're right. I'm not there physically. But you know where I am, Toga?"
"Where…?"
"On your side."
"I know you are… but it's hard… I miss you."
Jun felt his back hit the wall of his room as he slumped, his grip on the phone loosening. "I know you do. I miss you too."
"You do?"
"Of course I miss the blood queen. Who else is going to rule over blood with me?"
Jun heard Toga giggle through the line, a smile forming on his face.
"Now, I'm not going to ask what's been going on because I trust you'll tell me when you want to. Just don't go ghosting me, okay?"
"Mhm! I won't Jun."
"Good, now I gotta go to the gym. You gonna stay on the line?"
"Not today, I want to be by myself for now."
Jun hesitated, looking at his computer. "Hey, if you score well on your next exam, I'll get you a present."
"Huh? Why?"
"Because I want to, you gonna do well?"
"I have to now, jerk!"
"Good, focus on that bloodbug."
"It's bloodqueen, JunYA!" The call ended from her side a moment later.
Jun sighed as he put the phone down. Hopefully the gift bait keeps her occupied and excited. Now I gotta gamble again.
