Chapter 1 â Awakening in Konoha
Daiki was the first to wake up.
The scent of old wood mixed with clean dust filled his lungs before his eyes even opened. When he finally blinked, a simple wooden ceiling came into viewâsmall cracks, well maintained, yet clearly aged. He sat up too fast, and the world spun.
"â HuhâŠ?"
The room itself was unremarkable, and that was exactly what made it unsettling. A neatly folded futon. A small bookshelf filled with plain books. An open window letting warm sunlight spill inside.
"âŠThis isn't my house," he muttered.
His hand instinctively pressed against his chest, feeling his heart hammer wildly. He checked his arms, his legsâhis entire bodyâas if expecting to find blood or broken bones.
"I remember the accident⊠so why am I fine?"
A soft sound interrupted his thoughts.
Oink.
Daiki froze.
Slowly, he turned his head.
"âŠPink?"
The pink pig sat beside the futon, staring at him as if nothing were out of the ordinary.
"PINK!" Daiki pulled him into a tight hug, his voice shaking. "You're here tooâŠ"
The pig grunted happily.
"âŠThen this is real."
Before he could process that thought, the door slammed open.
"DAâ!"
"DAIKI!"
Arashi stepped in first, red hair sticking up in wild spikes, sharp blue eyes scanning the room like a soldier entering hostile territory. Naoya followed close behind, quietly closing the door, his expression calm and calculating.
The three locked eyes.
Silence stretched on for several seconds.
"You guys alsoâŠ" Daiki started.
"âŠwoke up here," Naoya finished.
Arashi clicked his tongue.
"Great. So it's not just my imagination."
Daiki let out a nervous laugh.
"Man⊠I thought I was the only one."
"Fear won't help us," Arashi said bluntly. "We need to figure out where we are."
"I agree," Naoya replied. "But before that⊠do you remember what happened?"
The air grew heavy.
The sound of impact.
The sensation of falling.
The world fading into white.
"We died," Arashi said flatly.
Daiki hugged Pink tighter.
"I remember everything going darkâŠ"
Naoya took a slow breath.
"Then the only logical conclusion is that we were⊠reincarnated."
Arashi crossed his arms.
"If this is some kind of illusion or test, it's the most elaborate one I've ever seen."
Daiki walked toward the window, his legs still unsteady, and opened it.
"Then look outside."
Arashi and Naoya joined him.
Wooden houses lined the streets.
Villagers walked by peacefully.
And carved into the distant mountainâ
"âŠKonoha," Daiki whispered, eyes shining.
Naoya felt his stomach twist.
"This is the world of NarutoâŠ"
Arashi stayed silent for a moment.
"That explains our clothes."
They glanced at themselves.
Daiki wore a green shirt, bandages wrapped around his arms, and a worn hat.
Arashi was dressed in black with orange accents.
Naoya wore muted black and blue.
"Wait," Daiki said suddenly. "Did you notice?"
"Notice what?" Arashi asked.
"Our bodiesâŠ" Naoya murmured. "They're not exactly the same as before."
Arashi clenched his fist.
"I'm an Uzumaki."
Naoya touched his eyes, a chill running down his spine.
"And I'm⊠an Uchiha."
Silence fell again.
"That changes everything," Naoya said. "We're not outsiders. We belong to this world now."
Daiki swallowed.
"So if we die hereâŠ"
"We die for real," Arashi finished.
The tension was suffocating.
"But someone set all this up," Daiki said, trying to ease the mood. "The house, the foodâŠ"
They explored the living room and kitchen. Everything was modest but organized. Pots, rice, vegetablesâand documents.
Naoya picked one up.
"The house is registered under all three of our names."
"So we're not completely abandoned," Daiki said.
"Or someone wants to keep an eye on us," Arashi replied.
Naoya kept reading.
"We're enrolled in the Ninja Academy. Final year."
Daiki's heart skipped.
"Final year⊠so we're close to becoming genin."
Despite the fear, a smile crept onto his face.
"I've always loved Naruto. Watching him fight, never giving upâŠ" He hugged Pink. "I want to be like him. I want to become Hokage."
Arashi stared at him.
"Hokage isn't a hero's dream. It's a title carried by someone who bears the weight of the dead."
Daiki lowered his head briefly.
"I know⊠but someone has to dream, right?"
Naoya looked at both of them.
"I don't want trouble. I just want us to survive."
Arashi exhaled.
"Then we agree on one thing. We stick together."
Daiki smiled.
"Together."
Pink let out a loud grunt, as if approving.
Naoya sighed.
"Tomorrow our final year begins⊠and we don't know a single jutsu."
"Yet," Daiki replied.
For the first time, Arashi smiledâjust slightly.
"Then we'll learn."
And so, inside that small house in Konoha, three boys from another world accepted the most terrifying truth of all:
They had no choice but to move forward.
