Waking in bed I realize immediately this is not my room. The walls are a soft pink color, my computer isnt here. Neither is any of my consoles. A laptop on a desk surrounded by a few cutesie trinkets. Kinda feels like I've entered a female streamers room.
Leaving the room I realize I'm not even in the same house I live in. A foreign hallway and stairway. I can hear unfamiliar voices downstairs and as I carefully move downstairs to find two women I've never seen before chilling on the couch and a man cooking something that smells delicious in the kitchen.
The older woman turns to me hearing the step beneath me creak with a soft warm smile.
"Finally awake my handsome little prince?" She says looking to me.
I stare at her completely lost and notice the younger girl next to her turn to look at me as well. I hesitate to respond and their quick to notice.
The younger girl speaks up to break the silence. "You awake yet little bro?" Her expression showing concern.
Unable to think of who they are or why I was called a 'little prince' or 'little bro' I blurt out the first thing on my mind. "Where am I?"

The rest is kind of a haze but to give a run down of what's happened after I was brought to the hospital. The people I met down stairs are my family. The older woman, my mother Illana. The younger one, imparently my older sister Kara. The man, my father Shawn. Luckily my names the same, Drake Embers.
On the way to the hospital I noticed something peculiar besides the overwhelming concern my father showed for me on the way. I could hardly notice any guys around. Not driving, walking on the sidewalks, or even in the hospital.
Even my doctor wasn't a man. Though I did see pictures of male doctors in the hallway. After the doctor did some tests I managed to notice a headline on the muted tv in the room.
Concerning reports continue to show a sharp decline in male birth rates!
Reading that my head started to pound harshly and I passed out.
