Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The One Who Was Waiting

Once again, like every other day, the morning begins inside a moving train.

Among the passengers is a young couple—Nidhi and Rohan.

Nidhi is deeply in love. Looking at Rohan with a soft smile, she says,

"Rohan, you are perfect for me. Without you, I feel incomplete."

Rohan replies warmly,

"I love you too, Nidhi."

After some time, hunger takes over. Nidhi mentions it casually, and Rohan stands up.

"Stay here while the train is stopped," he says. "I'll get something for you to eat."

Rohan steps out of the train—but instead of buying food, he starts talking to another girl nearby. It is a quiet betrayal, one Nidhi knows nothing about.

Moments later, Rohan returns with snacks, acting as if nothing ever happened.

At around 10:00 p.m., the train arrives at Aquarius Station. There, they receive unexpected news—their 12:00 a.m. train has been cancelled. With no hotel and nowhere else to go, they decide to spend the night at the station.

Time moves slowly.

The station grows emptier. Louder silence replaces sound.

The clock keeps ticking.

…12:45

…12:58

…12:59

And then—

1:00 a.m.

The air suddenly turns cold.

An unnatural wind sweeps through the station, and the platforms fall completely silent. Nidhi and Rohan sit alone on the deserted bench when a soft sound reaches their ears—the sound of a woman crying.

A helpless-looking woman approaches them. Her voice trembles as she asks,

"If you don't mind… may I sit here?"

Rohan nods.

But the woman does not sit.

She stands there, her face completely covered, unmoving.

Slowly, she begins to walk toward the railway tracks.

That's when Nidhi notices something horrifying.

The woman's feet…

are facing backward.

Fear crashes into Nidhi all at once. She turns toward Rohan to warn him—but before she can speak, Rohan starts moving toward the woman on his own, as if drawn by something unseen.

He reaches out and places his hand on her shoulder.

The woman slowly turns around.

And Rohan sees it.

She has no face.

Before he can scream, before he can think, the world shifts. Rohan finds himself standing on the railway tracks. A cold, hollow voice whispers into his ears—

"I'm waiting…"

A train rushes past.

In the next moment, Rohan is gone.

Nidhi remains frozen in shock—her eyes wide open, her body unable to move—forced to watch the horror unfold before her.

And at Aquarius Station…

someone is still waiting.
