She briefly explained how she had met Cassian Zane and the whole "inheritance" process, which had felt more like a forced sale.
When she finished, she let out a soft sigh, her tone growing more somber. "What he left behind isn't some minor trouble that can be easily solved. As for me, the new Beast God, if I can't gain the faith of the myriad creatures on the Beastman Continent in a short time, I'll probably suffer a backlash just like he did. That's the price one must pay for gaining 'Divine Power'."
Even though she hadn't intended to receive the inheritance, the fact was that she had now inherited the Divine Position and had to bear all that came with it.
