Even though the Water God was severely wounded, it still possessed a terrifying power capable of easily destroying a city. Faced with this might, even Su Zhou could only rely on the extreme mobility of his Gale Armor to evade its attacks. Now and then, he would use the Blade of Annihilation, turning back to shatter the water-based Magic Techniques about to strike him. Occasionally, he would also retaliate by hurling his Dragon Horn Long Spear as a supersonic projectile.
But an attack sufficient to grievously wound or even kill an ordinary Extraordinary High-tier Divine Beast could, at best, only destroy a negligible bit of the shell and flesh of a Monster like the Island Giant Whale. It was hardly a threat at all. Su Zhou could indeed harm the Water God—it wasn't as if he couldn't even break its defenses—but the damage he inflicted was so minimal it was barely different from not breaking through at all.
