Wan Xian'Er's delight actually made Mu Chen let out a sigh of relief. "You," he said, exasperated. "Always so impulsive."
Wan Xian'Er giggled, squeezing his hand in return. "That's right, I'm always impulsive. That's why I'll be right back."
"Be right back?" Mu Chen blinked. "Where are you going?"
Wan Xian'Er said, "To find that drawing I remember. I recall seeing it in a book in the Ten Thousand Volumes Hall. It might just be the fourth map fragment."
As she spoke, Wan Xian'Er started to run outside, but she had barely taken a few steps before Mu Chen caught her by surprise, pulling her back. Losing her balance, she let out a cry and fell right into his arms.
Holding Wan Xian'Er, Mu Chen chuckled. "It's already so late. You can go tomorrow."
Wan Xian'Er didn't seem to mind being in his arms, but she looked a little puzzled. "Aren't you anxious to find it?"
"I am."
"Then why wait?"
