"If you think it's too much, you don't have to participate in the auction. Did I force you?" Mo Qi retorted, not giving him any face at all.
After speaking, he looked at the other experts and added, "That goes for the rest of you, too. If you don't want to bid, you're free to leave. I, Mo Qi, am an honest man. I never force anyone into a deal."
An honest man?
The experts could only scoff internally.
'If you're an honest man, then there are no villains left in the world. We might as well have world peace,' they thought.
"I'll count to three. If no one makes a bid, then we'll call this whole thing off. It'll save me the trouble."
Mo Qi held up three fingers and glanced nonchalantly at the crowd. Without giving them any time to think, he began to count, "Three."
He didn't pause. The moment the word left his lips, he lowered one finger. "Two."
