Mr. Lynch, whose legs were already weak and unsteady from a guilty conscience, completely collapsed to the ground again when he heard that Evan Keller and his team had pulled something from Florinwell.
'It's over. This time, it's really over.'
Leaving a few officers to watch the man in the duckbill cap and Mr. Lynch, the rest followed the others into the greenhouse to see what was going on.
An hour later, the skeletal remains in Florinwell were completely recovered.
The remains had been dismembered into several pieces and were soaking at the very bottom of Florinwell. The skin on the surface had begun to rot, and in some places, stark white bone was already exposed.
Fortunately, however, the head wasn't severely decomposed, and the person's identity could still be determined.
"He looks very similar to the Mr. Lynch outside, just a bit older. It seems what the man in the duckbill cap said is highly likely," Sean Hughes couldn't help but remark, looking at the body on the ground.
