Lu Jingxing paused for a moment before saying, "But her staying here is certainly not a long-term solution. She can stay for half a month at most. After that, she must leave the Rong Mansion."
Wanyun replied with a faint smile, "Alright."
Wanyun dismissed the maids beside her. Once inside the room, she gently and attentively began to massage Lu Jingxing's shoulders and neck.
"My love, you've been getting busier and busier lately. Why did you come so late today?"
Lu Jingxing said, "I was thinking of taking you to Sha City for your birthday."
Wanyun asked, "Sha City?"
Lu Jingxing explained, "Ning Fang is currently stopped over in Sha City. She probably won't be able to return to Chang'an City until the end of the tenth month.
I've seen how worried you've been about Ning Fang, so I thought I'd take you to Sha City for your birthday.
Besides, didn't you want to see the vast Great Desert?"
