The Gang Leader of the Daqing Gang, Leng Ping—a man who had come back from the dead—returned to Cyan Dragon City several years ago. With the air of a returning king, he reconquered the leaderless and strife-ridden Daqing Gang overnight.
Bringing with him the powerful followers he had amassed in Yellow Sand City, Leng Ping once again became a godfather-like figure in Cyan Dragon City's underworld.
But after all he had been through, Leng Ping seemed to have grown weary. He rarely made public appearances to handle affairs. The Daqing Gang became a transcendent existence in the Cyan Dragon Kingdom. Even when high-ranking court ministers repeatedly petitioned to dispatch troops and annihilate this unsettling force, they were always overruled by Emperor Zhao Xinghai.
What a joke. Others might not know who was behind the Daqing Gang, but how could Zhao Xinghai not? If Qin Li had wished it back then, he could have killed Zhao Xinghe and easily replaced the Zhao Clan's regime!
