Chapter 35 - Chapter 29: Green-skinned kid (3)

A fine, silver thread of light shot out from his terminal, connecting to the edge of the Teleportation Array.

The same thing happened to the other fifty-six students.

Fifty-seven threads of light, like a spider's web, bound all the students tightly to the Teleportation Array.

"Brace yourselves."

Wu Shangfeng's voice seemed to come from far away, tinged with a faint, blurry distortion.

The next second, the distorted space in the center of the Teleportation Array abruptly collapsed inward, forming a bottomless vortex shimmering with multicolored light.

An immense, irresistible suction force pulled from the vortex.

Qin Feng's vision blurred. In that instant, his entire world—along with time and space itself—was utterly overturned, shattered, and reassembled.

His consciousness felt as if it had been forcibly ripped from his body and thrown into a bizarre tunnel composed of countless chaotic colors and fragmented light.

An indescribable sense of speed made him lose all perception of up, down, left, and right.

Countless unfamiliar, malevolent whispers echoed madly in the depths of his mind, persistent and foul like maggots burrowing into his bones.

His body felt as if it were being violently pulled and torn in every direction by countless invisible hands.

This dizzying, soul-crushing sensation—he didn't know how long it lasted.

Perhaps a century, or perhaps just a fleeting moment.

Just as the tearing sensation reached its peak, everything came to an abrupt halt.

Qin Feng's eyes shot open. He found himself standing on solid, dark-red earth.

He gasped for breath, instinctively pressing a hand to his forehead to ease the intense dizziness still lingering in his mind.

He looked around and found himself in a completely alien world.

The sky was a murky, sickly orange, with no sun or clouds in sight. Two dark-purple moons of different sizes, like a pair of enormous, lifeless eyeballs, hung silently in the firmament.

The air was thick with a pungent odor—a mix of sulfur, rust, and some unknown decaying substance.

The ground beneath his feet was a desolate, dark-red Gobi.

There was no vegetation in sight, only jagged, strange rocks and massive metal wrecks resembling the skeletons of great beasts, scattered everywhere.

In the distance, several abandoned, colossal mineral refining towers stood on the horizon like silent, rust-covered steel giants, adding a touch of apocalyptic desolation to the dead world.

The bodies of numerous miners were scattered around the refining towers.

This was Planet Gamma-7.

A mining sector on the frontier of the Empire, one that still held some value.

Beside him, Qian Duoduo was bent over with his hands on his knees, his face pale as he dry-heaved uncontrollably.

"I... Holy shit... This teleportation feels... *Urp*... so awful..."

On his other side, Shi Potian was in slightly better shape.

Though his face was also pale, he still stood ramrod straight, his brow tightly furrowed as he clearly struggled to adapt to the teleportation's aftereffects.

The rest of the students were in a similar state.

Many of them, like Qian Duoduo, had collapsed to the ground, looking miserable.

Only their homeroom teacher, Wu Shangfeng, remained completely unfazed.

He seemed entirely unaffected by the Subspace Teleportation, his sharp eyes vigilantly scanning the surroundings.

"All of you, on your feet!"

His voice was like a clap of thunder, booming in everyone's ears.

"This is a battlefield, not your playground! These first few seconds after teleporting are when you're most vulnerable and most likely to be ambushed! Get yourselves together, check your equipment, and stay alert!"

Startled by his sharp command, the students all jolted. They fought through their discomfort, scrambled to their feet, and picked up their weapons.

Qin Feng also tightened his grip on the Alloy Long Spear in his hand. The cold touch of the metal quickly cleared his muddled consciousness.
