Inside the Meditation Room of the main workshop, Allen opened his eyes, withdrawing his consciousness from his Sea of Spirit.
"Too slow." Allen frowned slightly, sensing the changes within his Sea of Spirit.
For thirty whole days, he had engaged in deep Meditation and construction for a rigid ten hours a day without fail. Yet, the prototype of his eighth sub-thread was less than a tenth complete. As for the first Core Matrix of the Second-level Wizard stage, with its thirty-six agonizingly complex Will Runes, he hadn't even managed to stabilize the first stroke of the first rune.
Without the aid of High-tier resources, relying purely on this slow, grueling grind made the progression of a Second-level Wizard feel absolutely hopeless.
Allen shook his head. "I really will have to grind this out for decades."
He figured he would just have to take it slow; there was still a long road ahead of him.
