The Demon Dragon King's eyes were wide open, but the light had already faded from them.

The Saint Dragon King asked, "What's going on? I have a feeling the Demon Dragon King is already dead."
Li Wei nodded. "He is indeed dead."
Li Wei explained to the Saint Dragon King how the Demon Dragon King, in a last-ditch effort, chose to project his soul to fight him to the death.
The Saint Dragon King was stunned and looked at Li Wei with concern.
"Are you alright?"
"A battle between souls is incredibly perilous. Even if you win, it can leave behind massive latent damage," the Saint Dragon King cautioned.
Li Wei shook his head. "I'm fine."
He didn't explain why.
