"About 2,300 years ago, in order to unite the power of the various Deep Sea Races, the Deep Sea King of that era—Ling Shark, leader of the Red Shark Family—called upon all the races to select a suitable location in the Celestial Sea. Together, they built a Secret Realm where the young Beast Masters of the Ten Races could train and grow. This place is known as the Sea God Palace."
"Every 60 years, the Ten Races select High-Level Water Type Spiritual Materials and young Soul Beasts from within their families and place them in the Sea God Palace as prizes. These are awarded to the young Beast Masters who pass the Sea God's Trial. Um... Of course, the Sea God Palace is also a treasure trove for nurturing Soul Beasts and precious materials. All in all, as long as you pass the trials set by the Ten Races, you can claim a prize."
