Jenny wiped her tears and sobbed, "I'm going to text my boyfriend and break up with him right now."
"Okay." Renee Jennings nodded slightly, agreeing that it was the right thing to do.
[Are you sure you want to break up?]
[But that's not fair to your boyfriend. He has nothing to do with this.]
Jenny saw the comments and explained with a serious expression, "But if I disregard my mom's feelings and insist on this marriage, wouldn't that be even more unfair to my mom?"
"To be honest, and I don't care if people flame me for this, my boyfriend is definitely not as important as my mom. I've only known him for a year and a half. My mom worked so hard to raise me for over twenty years."
"Exactly," said Renee Jennings. "A mother who's good to you is someone to be cherished."
"Exactly!" After speaking, Jenny switched to her messaging app and sent her boyfriend the breakup message.
