"Sigh…" She sighed and shook her head. "Jewel, this is rather disappointing."
Auntie Sterling cursed inwardly. 'Damn old hag! Didn't you promise to keep my secret? Why are you backing out now?'
She forced a sycophantic smile. "Auntie Mayer, you must be joking. Please, clear things up with Miss Dawson so she doesn't get the wrong idea."
Granny Mae's sunken, cloudy eyes stared at her, her tone growing stern. "Jewel, Yuna is giving you a chance. You should just confess on your own!"
