He had initially assumed that Teleportation was just a more advanced application of the Beacon ability, but after in-depth research, he found that they were completely different.
With a Beacon, Yu Fei could sense its aura and then instantly move to its location.
If space were a sheet of white paper, a Beacon would be like a dot drawn on it. Yu Fei could then fold the paper—that is, space itself—to change his position.
He didn't need to take any extra action himself.
Teleportation, however, was vastly different. Yu Fei gradually came to understand this as he researched and crafted world anchors.
