Xin Huohuo didn't know she had already been to Bei Mingyuan's real home when she was burned—she'd been unconscious at the time, after all—so her curiosity was piqued. No one told her to stay, but stay she did, even peeking through the crack in the door. Unfortunately, she couldn't see a thing, nor could she hear any sound.
