The bag Liu Fanglan had ripped open contained fabrics Shen Nian had bought specifically to decorate her house, much of it being lace.
And a fair amount of it was even pure white.
After Liu Fanglan crudely ripped the bag open, not only did the contents spill out, but she also started pawing through them immediately.
The piece she grabbed happened to be pure white lace. Shen Nian had fallen in love with its unique texture and pristine color the moment she'd seen it.
However, the most infuriating part was that, for whatever reason, Liu Fanglan hadn't washed her hands before leaving her house; she had come over with them still covered in grime.
The moment she grabbed it, the pure white lace was covered in dirty smudges—and at a glance, it was clear they were the kind that would never wash out.
Liu Fanglan herself was a bit dumbfounded. She had only wanted to see what Shen Nian had bought and then figure out if there was anything she could get out of her.
