"Is it because I look a lot like your sister?"
Shen Nian looked at the little boy and asked. 'If that's the case, then it's no wonder Little Fanfan wouldn't let go of her. After all, seeing someone who looks like a family member probably makes you feel more secure!'
However, Little Fanfan looked at Shen Nian and shook his head.
"It's not?"
"You're like my sister."
"..."
Shen Nian scratched the back of her head. 'Am I getting old? Is there a generation gap between me and kids now? Why do I feel like I can't quite understand what this little boy is saying?'
'He says I'm like his sister. Doesn't that just mean I look like her?'
'Whatever.' Shen Nian couldn't figure it out right away, so she decided not to overthink it. Kids say the darndest things, after all. That was perfectly normal.
Shen Nian waited with Little Fanfan at the supermarket's main service desk for a little while before she saw a middle-aged woman rushing toward them.
