Qi Yunzhi and Chu Lingxiu were in the same major, so they could always go to and from class together.
When Shen Nian returned, she saw that Qi Yunzhi and Chu Lingxiu had clearly grown much closer than they were that morning and were chatting idly.
"Xiao Nian, you're back!"
Seeing Shen Nian come in, both Qi Yunzhi and Chu Lingxiu looked up at her in pleasant surprise.
"Yeah? What's got you two so happy?"
"Of course we're happy! Don't you know?"
"Know what?"
"About the military training! We were originally supposed to do it as soon as school started, but because of a few small issues, it's been postponed until the beginning of next semester. It's great news!"
Shen Nian smiled. 'So that's what it was about.' Xu Zhe had mentioned it in class earlier, but she hadn't paid it much mind.
"It's just at a different time. Don't we still have to do it?"
