Gu Dashi knew he couldn't win an argument against Li Cuicui, so he simply turned and walked into the kitchen, grabbing a dried fish before leaving.
"Grandma, I want to eat fish too," Gu Lehua said, waiting until Gu Dashi was far away.
"Your grandpa took the last fish. We'll just eat whatever for lunch." Li Cuicui ignored her and walked straight to the backyard to see what vegetables she could harvest.
"Grandma is so stingy," Gu Lehua pouted.
"Your mother certainly isn't stingy. She dumped you two little brats here without sending over any good food. She just gave a tiny bit of cornmeal, and yet you dare to demand so much." Gu Yuanfeng stood at the doorway holding a little girl, sneering.
"Aunt Yuan Feng, at least my mother gave us cornmeal. What have you given Grandma?"
"Hey, you little brat, who taught you to talk to your aunt like that? I eat my parents' food. What does that have to do with you?"
