At first, the two of them thought Fang Chenyi was just being modest. It wasn't until they saw him play that they truly believed his words.
They watched as Fang Chenyi swung the club. He put plenty of power into it, but unfortunately, the golf ball was still lying on the grass right in front of him.
His first swing in life was a spectacular whiff.
But Fang Chenyi wasn't the least bit embarrassed. A miss was a miss. He just shrugged helplessly at the two of them.
"I just told you I've never played before. Don't you two laugh at me now."
Fortunately, Fang Chenyi's coordination was excellent. After that first miss, it only took him two or three more strokes before he was hitting the ball smoothly, even if his form wasn't quite standard.
