The figure waved his hand.
"There is no need for such formalities. I have come at the invitation of Zen Master Zhi Kong to witness this grand event, the doctrinal debate between your two temples that occurs once every twenty-five years. I wonder, which Buddha's Son and which Scripture have the two temples sent out for the debate?"
