The hospital's dean was there to welcome them. Dean Zhu led the group of new students to the lodging area in the back. The clamor only died down after everyone had unpacked and started chatting.
By this time, everyone had been assigned to their lodgings.
Since there were quite a few people, they were still assigned four to a room. However, the rooms here were a bit larger than the ones at school, so there was no need to squeeze their luggage in.
After they put their luggage away, a notice came from the dean's office over the internal comms system.
It would take another day or two to prepare the consultation rooms and set up everything needed to see patients. For that reason, everyone was to rest in the dorms for the next two days. The hospital would officially open for the free clinic on September 1st.
The notice also told everyone not to wander off. A local guide would come to the dorms the next morning, and anyone who wanted to go out should wait until the guide arrived.
