"Eldest Brother?" Yuan Si called out as she came out of the house. Although she already knew who had arrived, she still forced a surprised look onto her face.
"That's right. Your brother's back," the old woman said with a chuckle.
Li Mubo also had a smile on his face as he looked at the little girl in the doorway. "Little Si, you've changed."
"Of course she has. Your sister was only six when you left, and now she's nine. It'd be strange if she hadn't changed." The old woman then chided Yuan Si, "What are you standing there frozen for? Go on, greet your brother."
Yuan Si obediently called out to Li Mubo, "Eldest Brother."
"There you are. Little Si's all grown up now." Li Mubo stepped forward, intending to pat his little sister on the head. 'She was just a tiny thing when I left, and now she's this big...' he thought. 'Well, not that big, really. But her face has filled out. She's so fair and delicate-looking, just adorable.'
